Two different results from this eternal rival again put Barcelona 3 points away from Real Madrid. What a disappointing result this week, because I honestly predicted that Real Madrid would win, but in reality they had to lose to Villarreal. On the other hand, Barcelona, they were able to keep the goals they scored in the first half until the game ended. In fact, Atletico Madrid had the opportunity to steal at least 1 point, but it seems that they were unlucky to do that.

Competition in La Liga looks fierce again with the birth of different results from the two matches, because Barcelona again managed to lead the standings after being able to win the match at home to Atletico Madrid. This is a very extraordinary result for Barcelona because Barcelona again pushed Real Madrid harder for the rest of the season after a poor result against Villarreal. I don't know what's wrong with Real Madrid not being able to win against Villarreal.

Easy points for barcelona. Getage being beaten by sevilla which mean if getafe will be a very easy opponent for barcelona. Copa del rey was another case and it shall not be discussed in the la liga thread. Bilbao looks like an easy opponent for madrid but in this case luck is playing a lot to determine whether the club will able to get the full points or not. I think that this gonna be the most important match for barcelona.
If bilbao will able to beat madrid and then barcelona can make the gap even bigger. Any match will become a golden chance for barcelona to make sure if it was slowly leaving from pressures that made by madrid
That'swhy barcelona has no reason to not win the match that will come untilthe end of season. Barcelona needs to be even more consistent and increase its goal productivity

Last match for this week between Bilbao vs Osasuna and actually after Atletico Madrid lose from Barcelona i think this is good chances for Bilbao to overtake 5th position but only if they can gets 3 points from Osasuna but i am a bit doubt Bilbao will be able to win today this because their performance were quite unstable even last match against Betis was dissapointing me because they failed to win and indeed from recent meetings statistics Bilbao had good records from Osasuna but it doesn't guarantee they will gets positive result again today even more likely both of teams will share points again and my prediction this match will ended with draw result

Éder Militão has played decent enough in this match. I thought that even though he was not supposed to play on the right side, he did live quite well. Of course, the best performance for Real Madrid was from Luka Modrić. I really think that this was a case of Real Madrid underestimating their opponent. I also do not think that they actually took enough preparations for this match.

I am not saying that Villareal is a bad team. They are actually a very good team. But there was no way Real Madrid should have lost this match. Obviously, the performance from Real Madrid was not up to the mark. It’s not like Villarreal played really well in this match. I just think that Real Madrid did not play well enough.

It seems that Eder Militao is not suitable to play on the right wing, even though he didn't make any fatal mistakes in that game either. Real Madrid did not play better than Villarreal, causing them to lose, plus Real Madrid's defense was not so strong against attacks. Villarreal started pressing from the early minutes, so that Real Madrid had difficulty keeping up with Villarreal's game, Penalties Gerard Moreno in the 63rd minute put Real Madrid under even more pressure.

Both osasuna and bilbao are in great shape making them sitting at the midtable comfortably while bilbao supposed to sit at the top 6 at least ... it's a clear one for me to back athletic bilbao this time rather than to pick osasuna moneyline , this is very important match for both.

The game between sevilla and Getafe was a good one for Sevilla but it wasn't an easy winning for sevilla because Getafe gave them a good fight defensively, in the first 36 minutes Sevilla got their first goal of the match and the deserved it, before This match Getafe has only lost once in the last six that placed them on a good side too but Sevilla being the host of this match never relented, this winning for sevilla might be a good opportunity for them to turn things around and start winning match.

After break now Sevilla performance is improved which give them four points from two games, and now they are out of the relegation zone which is good sign for them because now it's time for having better results otherwise things could be worse because now 16th rounds completed and teams are looking for having quality performance for the staying at the better ranks and this change for the Sevilla is also good which allow them improvement and consistency for the future games.

In coming round, they are going to play against Girona which is also good side and having good results in last few games this could be big challenge for the Sevilla if they want to stay alive for the next season in La Liga.

Atletico Madrid had a really unfortunate game against Barcelona. Because they found many important goal opportunities but wasted all of them so easily. Griezmann had two big opportunities to score there. The first one was saved by ter Stegen really amazingly. The second one could have really brought the equalizer in the last minutes. But indeed Araujo's intercepting the ball just in front of the goal line was a superb reaction. Barcelona had big weaknesses in defense despite being quite effective in offense.

Dembele also missed a chance to score the second goal but he was still one of the good players as he scored a goal also. This win was really important for Barcelona to relieve in the standings a little more.

As I said before, the match between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona will run with high tension, and it was evident that there were 2 red cards in that match. I think Atletico Madrid played quite well in this game and they had several good opportunities that should have turned into a goal, it's just that they don't have a great finishing touch. With an additional 3 points, Barcelona can widen their gap with Real Madrid but that still does not guarantee their position in La Liga because Real Madrid certainly will not stay quiet.

I really appreciate what the Barcelona did in that tough match, they deserved the 3 points. I admit that Atletico Madrid had a few chances, but they just couldn't score which cost them the match in the end. Meanwhile I can also say that Barcelona's several goal chance also could not be maximized, so that a 1 goal advantage was never safe before the game was over.

Now Barcelona has proven its doubtful ability to win against Atletico Madrid. But in the end they actually answered those doubts with 3 points and lead the standings with a 3 point advantage over Real Madrid.

Almería vs Real Sociedad between these two teams, Almería had a very bad performance. I lost this match with a bet. I bet with Almería support but Almería lost this match by 2 goals. Real Sociedad showed a great game. They scored 2 goals before halftime. After that  Almería could not score any more goals. Almería players received 1 yellow cards in the entire game.

In terms of statistics and performance this season you should also be aware that choosing Almeria in this match is wrong because this is tantamount to making a bet based solely on luck 90 minutes because regardless of anything they lost to Soicedad even before the game started.

No one needs convincing that yesterday Barcelona won an extremely important victory. This is not a big surprise, because apart from the match against Real, so far Barcelona have won all their away matches. So, I think with the victory that Sevilla got by beating Getafe, I personally am still not so sure that Sevilla can continue to stay away from the relegation zone.
But yes, because for the next match it looks like Sevilla will play against a mediocre team, then maybe that will be a big chance for Sevilla to win with three points.

Because for Sevilla at this moment they only need to win points consistently, because if Sevilla still can't be consistent to continue to earn points, then Sevilla's position will continue to be dangerous because it is close to the relegation zone.
About Barcelona, I personally am not too satisfied with the 1-0 win, because it would be great if the match had a few more goals because the tension in that match was also very high.
