Of course Barcelona has the potential to get a very severe punishment. This case has left a stain on Spanish football. Many parties are disappointed over the case. However I have never seen any precedent to relegate a club.

In the past, if you violate rules, let's pay fine fees and continue. That is historic solutions for Manchester City and PSG so I believe Barcelona will have to do the same and continue to play in where they are in.

Playing in Segunda B is possible but is blacklisted from all official UEFA competitions sounds like impossible.

As a connoisseur of La Liga, I am very angry at this kind of treatment, I imagine that La Liga will be very quiet if there is no Barcelona anymore.

Could be advantage for Real Madrid added La Liga tittle if all rumor about Barcelona try bribe the referee depend what happen with Serie A team Juventus faced calciopoli and their tittle given to Inter Milan. They still have chance but it is small and becomes smaller with their latest bad results in La Liga. I think those bad results imply more things and issues behind like an increasing effect of ageing on their old players like Modric, Kross, Benzema. I believe those players are strong mentally and have good self confidence but they are smart enough to realize effects of ageing on their bodies.

Their coach is experienced enough to realize it too and with big gap like this, it's more realistic if Real Madrid have more focus on Champions League in weeks that have matches in Champions League. With this, Barcelona will be given some weeks to expand their gap against Real Madrid which is big currently already.

Sevilla vs Almería

These two teams will compete on Sunday, as we know that both teams lost in the previous Laliga match and this will prove to both teams who will win. Previously, Sevilla was massacred when they had an away game at Atletico Madrid. Meanwhile, Almeria as the host, had to swallow defeat against Villareal. Sevilla's performance this season has been a very disappointing one I must say and even after they hired Jorge Sampaoli to manage the team after dismissing their former manager I still don't see a significant change in the team. They used to be the few top clubs that do challenge Barcelona and and Real Madrid in the Spanish La Liga. And they have the remaining fixtures of the season to save themselves from relegation and playing at home against Almeria who are also trying to survive from relegation will be a tight one but I think Sevilla are gonna come out victorious this weekend.

If we remember that time, of course it would be great to see Sevilla being able to compete with other strong teams such as Barcelona and Real Madrid. But I think even though Sevilla is currently in a slump, I still consider it one of the strongest teams in La Liga. Currently, Sevilla must try to stay away from the relegation zone so that in the following season they can improve their squad and be able to compete again with other top teams. The game against Almeria will keep them very motivated to move up the table and I hope the players have the mentality to achieve that.

I don't think there is any hope left for Elche to survive relegation this season even though they managed to pull a surprise rare away victory against Mallorca in their last match. I guess Valladolid will be able to secure 3 points playing against Elche at the final whistle today.

Elche is certainly getting relegated. There is no way they are coming back from this situation at all. Even if they do not lose a single match among those which are left, I still don't think they will be able to avoid relegation. Just for some context they are at the absolute bottom of the table and they have a point differential of 11 with just the team ahead of them.

Elche did get a surprise win against Mallorca in the last match. But I highly doubt that they will be able to get a win in this match against Valladolid.

I don't know what's going on regarding the situation. Personally, I have been a Barcelona fan for a long time. But if this is true, I sure hope that Barcelona gets punished thoroughly. I do not care if the club does end up being bankrupt or something, but I sure hope that they get punished if the allegations are true. This is a very serious accusation. Elche is left far enough at the bottom of the standings. it would indeed be difficult for them to catch up on points. even if they were now getting steady wins, it would be too late for them to rise.
at least, now they should be able to show a good game. improve their performance and hopefully next season they will be even better and be promoted back to La Liga.

Real madrid as a good team can't expect anything like that from them. This season, they seem to have always struggled against low table teams, so I won't be surprised if it's a draw or loss. The la Liga is Barcelona's to lose this season. Real Madrid should start thinking about making vital signings next summer.
