They have gone through mill with Athletico Madrid and Real Betis,  recording a double chained draw in both matches,  losing 4 points. This are matches that were supposed to promote their proximity with FC Barcelona who seems unyielding in La liga top standing. I believe a win against Espanyol on Saturday will boost their confidence and also bring them back to their winning ways.

Yep. The 5 last matches of Real Madrid in La Liga look very unconvincingly. They only won 2 matches, got 2 draws, and got 1 loss. They missed 7 points, it was big points. While Barcelona won 4 matches and only got 1 loss. So, Barcelona can lead the La Liga standings with quite big point gaps. Real Madrid already too many missed full points (3 points).

Sure, Real Madrid needs a win today, they must get 3 points against Espanyol. A win may improve the morale of Real Madrid players, they may be more motivated to keep good performance in the next matches. But if they get a draw or a loss today, I assume Real Madrid players will have no longer the spirit to play in La Liga matches.

Cadiz vs Getafe is really difficult to predict, I personally won't bet now but maybe later I'll bet when this match starts and watch gameplay of these both teams. And indeed both team want to get points from this match considering that they are currently not far from relegation zone, so yes I also think the possibility of a draw could be a good option rather than pick Home or Away, although I'm interest in Away team also which previously can beat Girona very well.

Actually, Sevilla has been getting better in several matches previously before losing and drawing. But, they missed so many chances to at least increase their performance in every match. The fight between mediocre teams who want to avoiding relegation is sometimes unpredictable because they have equal target but indeed Getafe recent performance is more good than Cadiz because at least they only lose once from 5 recent matches
About players conditions probably Getafe will still played their key player Enes Unal and Cadiz should be careful to this player because lately they had showed outstanding performance with scoring 6 goals from 9 matches and for Cadiz i didn't see any important players from this team who got injured or suspension so probably Cadiz will playing with their best starting line up however in the last 2 meetings both of teams only can able to playing draw and today too not impossible the result of this match will be draw again

I am not really fond of betting on those mid table or even relegation zone teams because of how much it is unpredictable. Even the worst team could beat the team that is like 15th or something, it's always unknown to me. I believe that the best thing to do right now would be making sure that I gamble on the teams I know.
Like for example, Real Madrid will play Espanyol, sure Espanyol could get a win or a draw and I am not saying that would be impossible but the most likely outcome is Real winning right? Or Barcelona plays Bilbao, they should be winning that too, or ATM playing Girona, they should win that too. These are a bit easier to predict games.

Getafe v Cadiz this match is going to be interesting. Both of them are in the lower mid position of the table. And this match is basically a must win for both of them. I absolutely agree that these types of matches are also very hard to predict. Because you never know which team is going to win. But to predict these types of mid-table matches, is really very tough.

It is exactly the close game that everybody expected. Not a go back and forth game, but a game that is all about exploiting the mistakes of your opponent.

In this game both are fighting to prevent themselves from being part of the competition to escape from relegation. It is what it is, but I thought we'd get to see more offensive power from Getafe.

I don’t know how this game can be decisive, given the fact that the chances of a La Liga title are practically non-existent. But due to the large margin of safety before the game with Liverpool, it seems to me that Real will play for their own pleasure and therefore they will win without problems (with or without Benzema), after all, the overall class of Real is clearly higher.

Ancelotti may rotate some players but I doubt if he completely rests all the main players since it is a very important match, too.
