Can't say that I'm very surprised about Real loss. Yes, loss against Levante isn't something what you can expect, but such losses for Barca or Real become regular thing this season. Early red card let Levante to control the game and take deserved win.
This result gave chance for Barca to reach Real this round. We will face Athletic tomorrow, it's not going to be easy, but we have to take revenge for loss in Supercopa final.

The main and basic thing is that if Real and Barcelona continue to through points into the bucket, Atletico's path becomes much easier and the pressure far lesser. I think that Diego Simeone will be smiling right now...

Agree, it is a very bad time to get defeated. How can Real Madrid squander the opportunity to secure 3 points at home? It was very unlucky once Militao got a red card (9'). This really made a big change in the match, Real Madrid should play with 10 players only from the early match.

I don't think so for Barcelona. The point will be the same with Real Madrid. But Atletico will have a higher chance to win the title with this result. Real Madrid and Barcelona will have a chance mathematically but it will be very hard to come back from a 10-point difference if Atletico defeat Cadiz. I want not only Atletico to be the champions but also to see a big competition for the championship. But if it goes this way, Atletico won't have much difficulty on this road.

I think Real Madrid's defeat today will give Barcelona a bit of a chance to make the standings better if they win the game against Athletic Bilbao. However, these two teams are really having trouble catching Atletico Madrid's points because so far they have been very difficult to beat. Madrid's defeat will make Zidane's situation even more difficult in Madrid, there is a possibility that Madrid will make changes if Zidane is unable to improve their performance.

Atletico Madrid loss from Real Madrid and almost big club looks difficult for Atletico, maybe when second match become hard for Atletico can win or not with big club like Real Madrid or Barcelona, but with left one match and have more than 7 points become big chance for Atletico if going on with good performance, maybe on next month when champion league begin we can see how long Atletico Madrid keep consistent with their performance.

Even if Athletico madrid loses 5 games out of 20 games, that would mean 15 point losses, add like 3 ties to that, that is 6 more point loss that means 21 points loss total, that means in 19 games left, Real Madrid needs to lose less than 10 points, in 19 games, that is really looks very very difficult. So, Athletico Madrid could lose as much as 21 points in 20 games and they are still champions.

Do not forget that when you are ahead too much it is really difficult to close that gap no matter how many games left. Even on early days of the league it was obvious that as long as ATM kept this up, they were going to be champions easily. I am not saying it is 100% guaranteed, but if someone gave me over 1.5 odds I would wager all my bankroll on it, because it is a very very high chance, not that it is 100% guaranteed but it is definitely at 80%+ range right now.

No doubt about how good is Zidane but the problem is that Real Madrid isn't consistent, losing points easily vs weaker opponents. About those rumors or talks, yeah this was reported earlier... Real Madrid was thinking to replace him after losing the 2 Cups matches and winning vs Alaves with 4 goals saved him. Now with such defeat, dunno if he could keep his place before CL games resume..
Now about the VAR red card, since Varane could take the ball then it should have been a yellow! Playing with 10 players made things harder for them..

I am very disappointed with Real Madrid's defeat, because I bet on Real Madrid's victory. If Real Madrid is inconsistent like this, most likely
the La Liga champion this season will be won by Atletico Madrid. Especially if it turns out that Atletico Madrid managed to beat Cadiz, the difference
in points with Real Madrid will be even further.

I agree that Courtois performance was indeed very good, managed to save 4 times, and even managed to save Roger's penalty. But Real Madrid

You are absolutely right. Barcelona this season is very different from last season's, the performances are not consistent. So don't get hopes up
that Barcelona can beat Athletic Bilbao, Moreover, the last meeting in the Spanish Super Cup Barcelona had to lose to face Athletic Bilbao. To be

Yeah, I think we've all said it already, even us who actually support Real or Barca. I'm not sure about UCL though, we've seen teams win that trophy before without even qualifying for the next season via top 3/4 berth, and I've a feeling we'll be seeing another 4th or 5th placed team win it this year.
