Sevilla is going from bad to worse every game as they even couldn't score once with 1 extra man on the field against Atl.Madrid. Now , all that is left for them is to recover in the 2nd part of the season and try at least to catch top 10 because if they continue to play like this , I'm afraid he might see Sevilla barely making it for next season in LaLiga and if that is not a warning sign for the club , I don't know what it can be because the situation like I said , is already very bad. 

There is still hope in the second half of the season for Sevilla to improve their performance and reach the top ten positions in the standings. The latest defeat to Atletico Madrid has hampered their progress in moving up the rankings, the best solution is to recruit new players to add depth to the squad. Personally, I feel like they should have given more time to the very first coach they sacked, he was the same man that won them the Europa League Competition, why not exercise doke level of patience. Let's give a trail to see how he does. He was just brought in and won his debut game. We will see how he tries to qualify them for the Champions League or any of the European Competitions.

Not too impressive, even Atletico Madrid knew how Sevilla would be hard for them to play. Atletico Madrid knew how important achieving this point would be for them after failing byo get there three points against Getefe the other day at home. Today so today made the fans excited. The goal scored wasn't enough but was enough to get three points at the end of the day. That was the game they had in mind to win and they also did well to win.

I will agree with you, Lewandowski isn't certainly at his best form right now. Probably they could improve their squad in the January transfer market.

Sevilla is having terrible time with their performance and their finances are also not good which is hurting them badly in this season in last 10 games they have only one win and 8 points which is clearly showing how things are going for them, and they are having not ideal situation because they can go into relegation zone as well with this performance.

At the top we have good time for the few teams Barcelona is on decline, and they are looking for the improvement, but things are also not good for them as well Atlético due to goals difference at the third spot, but we can expect good time for the Athletic Bilbao and Real Sociedad which are having good performance and try to have another good season into Champions League now second half is going to be challenging for these top teams in La Liga.

Atletico Madrid has been in an excellent form this season just unfortunately that Madrid, Barca and Girona as been better while Barca is now losing in the title race and Atletico finally caught up with them and if Girona continues like this then they may finish 3rd or 4th place cause I don't see Real Madrid dropping point.

However, the last few days were unforgettable for Atletico because they had to draw against Getafe and who would have thought they failed to secure the full 3 points at home. I agree with you. Barcelona's problem is not only the front line. Their midfield and defense have performed brilliantly in previous seasons. But both the midfield and defense have been weak this season. What Barcelona need most now is to strengthen the defense. If the defense is strong, Barcelona's overall situation will change. Barcelona have talented players in the front line. But due to the weakness of the midfielders, Barcelona is not getting good performance from the front line players. Xavi still needs a lot of money to strengthen the team. But due to the financial condition of the club, Xavi is not able to strengthen this team.

Everything was balanced and really every player had a 10/10 in passing and ball control. Barcelona today doesn't have that by any means. They are all good players, but back then it was a different level.

But Barca decline actually stated before Messi left Barca. Barcelona had the best team in history around 2009 and they were the most feared team before Some of them started retiring, This changes meant that Barca needed a team built around young players and when they started recruiting they made another mistake of recruiting some old players. Look at Real Madrid, they change all the attacking options with young stars and right now they can use same players to compete for upto 10 more years . Also the midfield of Madrid is also well occupied with youngsters which shows the difference in terms of future plans than Barcelona and that’s why the later falls in to crisis more often

Things didn't go the way I expected in the Atletico Madrid - Sevilla game. But still thankfully I got what I wanted from this game as Atletico Madrid won anyway. That red card by Caglar Soyuncu really made me worried about the possibility of a draw but Atletico Madrid showed once again how strong defense they have.

Sevilla were better than I expected today despite the loss. They might be really making progress this time but it is still early to make sure of something about them. They had a manager who didn't have any European football experience before. Now they have one who is familiar with it.

I don't think it's because Messi left the club that Barcelona is playing poorly, they played very well last season and win the league trophy and some minor cups. Barcelona has key players in the club and they deserve to perform well, but I think it's because of injuries that they can't compete with other teams this season, and they need to sign some new strikers in the next transfer windows, because I think Lewandowski is a weak player now that he can't score for is club again, because when Lewandowski is at Bayern Munich, I believe he will be the highest goal scorer and winner of the golden boot every season, but when he comes to Barcelona, he only performs in one season, and he has started playing weak games, they should find a better replacement for him next year so that the club will be stronger and perform well in the league.

Defeats seem to have become commonplace for Sevilla at the moment but it is not surprising because if we compare this season and last season they are not too different, it's just that there is a difference where last season they were in the Europa League after failing in the Champions League and surprisingly became champions there but for now something like that will not be possible because for the Champions League too they have been stranded at the bottom and cannot rise again.
Now they only have to focus on La Liga so that they can get out of their current situation but it is still very difficult for Sevilla to do.

Atletico Madrid is one team I admire in the Spanish la Liga but the only problem the club have is not being able to win the la Liga for some time now, the reason why I like Atletico Madrid is because they don't concede much goals and they have a solid defense that makes it difficult for their opponents to penetrate. Atletico Madrid winning Sevilla is a big achievement for them as they have moved to third position in the la Liga table with equal points as Barcelona but Atletico Madrid is leading them on goal difference.

Boring is not even the right expression for that. Watching Atletico Madrid when they scored the first goal is a pain in the ass. I was hoping for a very long time that they would introduce something like in other sports when the clock gets stopped after referee interventions or when there is a throw in or what not. Atletico Madrid easily manages to waste 30-45 seconds of the game with a single throw in. They should at least do it for the last 10 minutes of the game as that would solve a lot of problems these teams like Atletico cause for all the fans who just want to enjoy a nice soccer game on their screens.
