Very sad Real Madrid failed to get three points from Real Betis and tonight hope both team Barcelona and Atletico Madrid failed to get three points, how ever if Barcelona and Atletico Madrid success get three points El Real have little chance to get trophy, how ever left match for Real Madrid still have Sevilla and become bad result again for Madrid.

It is time for Real Madrid to focus on just one competition. The draw against Real Betis making the chances of Real Madrid become champions of La Liga is getting smaller. Supposedly with a situation like this, Real Madrid must give up their chance in La Liga and really concentrate on the Champions League (so they have a big chance to win the Champion League).

I don't think Real Madrid has big ones even in the Champions League. Most likely, Real will be left without trophies this season. Unfortunately, injuries did not allow Real Madrid to perform in full force. And the loss of points in games with weak teams decided the matter.

Looks like the fight for TOP 4 in LaLiga is over as I don't see how could any of them losing points and go under top 4 because with the win that Sevilla is about to take they will make 70 points and they're still in the title fight more than ever so this is why I still believe that the fight will until the last games from LaLiga...maybe the last game will be a tittle decider.

Atletico madrid were 1-0 down with a quick goal from Alejandro Berenguer in the 9th minute and I think this was a surprise. How not, from the last 8 matches Bilbao never won, even from the last 3 matches Bilbao did not score 1 goal in its match. Indeed, it is still the early minutes of the match and maybe Atletico can score a goal to win the match, I just don't expect this quick goal to happen for an Atletico team that I think have good defense.

It would be difficult to imagine better weekend scenario for Barca fans - Real dropped points, Atletico lost and Barca took a win against Villarreal.
Barca played good game tonight, except that big mistake in defense when Villarreal scored goal. Great game for Griezmann and very nice first goal. Second goal was just awful defense by Villareal defenders.
I actually expected Atletico to drop points today, you can check my post history for it . Though, I only predicted draw, but Athletic win is even better gift.
So, now Barca potentially took a lead in La Liga if we will win game that we have in advance. Remaining schedul isn't very difficult for us, except game with Atletico, which will be true final.

Benzema can't always carry the team but he is still doing a great job that's for sure. But even he couldn't prevent the point loss against Betis last night. They have a CL game too and because of that I guess they couldn't focus fully on this game.

Interestingly I feel like all the goals Benzema had was basically the system focusing on a good striker to score the goals. Don't get me wrong I am not saying Benzema otherwise wouldn't be able to score goals, he is a marvelous striker and he would great anywhere, I am just talking about the number that's it, put him on liverpool instead of Firmino for example and he would score 10 goals at best, not because he is bad, Firmino is not bad, he is great and so is Benzema but the system there is different and helps all attackers, even backs if they are up front, it is a whole team offense whereas in Real it is more like "get the ball to person who suppose to score" type of striker mentality.

This is why I think it is quite obvious he has more goals than he normally would in another strategy. At the end of the day Zidane is a great manager but he needs to bring other plaers into play on offense, he is amazing on defense management but his offense needs help.

If in the next 3 days Barcelona can win against Granada, they will take 1st place from Atletico. I think who will win La Liga will be determined by the match between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid on 8 May. Whoever becomes the winner, will have a big chance to become La Liga champion. But if the match ends in a draw then Real Madrid still has a chance in the title race.

Atletico Madrid is in big trouble now. Barcelona have one match missing and when they win it they will become new leader. There is only five games left and I can't believe how Real and Atletico lose points at this stage. Even though Barcelona have a very bad start they are the favorite now. I hope Barcelona win La Liga and Messi stay here.

I also feel the same given the way they have lost points after having an impressive lead for a large part of the season. As much as I hate to say this, I think Barcelona stand a much higher chance to take the trophy as long as the beat Atlético Madrid. Unlike Real Madrid who have been struggling against small teams. Barcelona have been winning the latelky without any problems except with Big teams.

What's happening this year in Spain it's incredible.

I remember Atletico was leading the Liga with an advantage of 8 points and having 2 fewer games played over Barca and Real.

Now they lost this evening and if Barca will win the missing game they will be behind them.

After Atletico Madrid fall  that gave the lead to Barca if it beats Granada next Thursday .
Laliga changes overnight and the change came this time to turn the tables on Simeone, who definitely does not deserve winnjng tge league with all these stumbling block.
Now Real Madrid is back to the race again they are only 3 points away from the awaited leader next Thursday.
I think it's jut time to wait until Barcelona to the top Thursday.

I was very surprised by Atletico Madrid's defeat today. Of course I hope they drop point, but not the Atletic Bilbao game. Thanks to Atletico Madrid's defeat today, I think Barcelona can use it to top the table, but of course they have to win match-33 against Granada.

If Barcelona lead the table, I just want them to keep it until the end of the season. There is only one match that will determine the title this season and that is Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid, but I wouldn't say Barcelona's other opponent will be easy to beat for the rest of the season. Hopefully Barcelona can win the match vs Granada this weekend.
