I know I'm Barca but I have to slightly disagree. Dembele is a true talent, but we all know his problems with fitness so maybe after this season if they can't find a way to permanently help him we have to rethink the squad.

Braithwaite played with the weight of stars on him so maybe now he is free. And my personal favourite if he gets more chances is Fati!

Let's get a neutral view about Barcelona gameplay in the previous season in La Liga:
Messi played 3023 minutes, scored 30 goals, made 9 assists
Griezmann played 2604, scored 13 goals, made 7 assists
Dembele played 1774 minutes, scored 6 goals, made 3 assists
Braithwaite played 1175 minutes, scored 2 goals, made 2 assists
Ansu Fati played 431 minutes, scored 4 goals with 0 assists
Even the previous 2019/2020 wasn't better for most of them.. Apart Suarez, other players stats were way behind Messi's ones.
What's the point of having a "good" player while he barely plays a match to get injured and misses a dozen after it... The team hired you to make something for it, the incredible number of injuries and the time to recover is a pure losses for Barca.

I think that we will have a similar score or maybe even a bigger score difference. Therefore, it shouldn't be so hard for Atletico to beat them.

It will be an easy match for Atletico Madrid. I guess the score will be more than 3 for Atletico Madrid. Moreover, they will play at home, it will be an extra motivation to win with big scores. I hope Suarez can play in that match, so Atletico can be more offensive. Without Suarez, Atletico cannot play optimally, so they cannot score as many as usual.

Yeah, it will be an easy one. I also hope that Luis Suarez plays in this. Joao Felix is still injured and we don't know when he is going to return. If Suarez is able to play, there is no problem for Atletico. They beat Celta Vigo even with Correa as CF.    But still, it is better to play with a real CF of course.

Injuries, inconsistent, difficult to develop are some of the reason why some of these players are only used as bench warmers. Miralem Pjanic was signed from Juventus, but Koeman didn't give him many opportunities to play and that's another reason why a player like this doesn't develop easily. Dembele, Ansu Fati are two of the few talented players who still need a lot of playing time and experience. They will help Barcelona but the coach has to manage it well and trust them.

I agree with you. It is unreasonable to consider how talented a player is when he cannot stay on the field long enough due to injury. All athletes must first maintain their fitness. Getting injured more quickly is detrimental to the player himeself and even to the team. Messi and Ronaldo have very few injuries.

Real Madrid's big win against Alaves will be a big motivation for Real Madrid players. Of course, they will continue to hope that this positive trend can continue. Real Madrid had an easy winning against Alaves, the match was an interesting match . Levante may not be weak, but I don't think they can win Real Madrid in their next match. They drew their last match which was against Cadiz. Levante had a bad season last season, they ended the season at 14th position and only won 9, drew 14 and lost 15 matches. They will definitely give Real Madrid a tough time, but I think Real Madrid will win the match.

Villarreal's next game is against Espanyol and it is an away game. After having a really good season, Villarreal couldn't start very well with the result they got in their first league game against Granada. It ended 0-0 but they were the better side for sure. Now, they would like to make things better for themselves by defeating Espanyol. But I must admit that this game will be a tough one. Villarreal should watch out for their opponent.

It is an eternal dilemma for the clubs that spend large sums to get the best players, like Madrid, Barca, Manchester, Liverpool, Milan,... At the end of the day players are quite fragile, and in fact I am surprised about how long some of them are able to play at the maximum professional level, because it is not only about being motivated after you have earned enough for 10 lifes, it is also about keeping that fitness and hardiness to endure a game that has plenty of hard contact.

Villarreal's next game is against Espanyol and it is an away game. After having a really good season, Villarreal couldn't start very well with the result they got in their first league game against Granada. It ended 0-0 but they were the better side for sure. Now, they would like to make things better for themselves by defeating Espanyol. But I must admit that this game will be a tough one. Villarreal should watch out for their opponent.

Espanyol is a promotion team usually the promotion team will do something surprising especially at the start of the season, last week they managed to draw against Osasuna

It looks like Mbappe will be at PSG spending a contract until next year, after which he can move to Real Madrid for free next year. Because it seems
difficult to buy Mbappe this year, because PSG did ask for a fairly high transfer fee. We all know that all La Liga teams are currently experiencing
a financial crisis due to the pandemic. But Madrid's performance against Alaves was very good, Real Madrid is very productive by scoring 4 goals.

Real is a big big club, there is really very few situations where they would not even be good in the La Liga, sure there could be years they may not be good at champions league but there also will be some type of situations where they will be great and win 3 in a row. However no matter what they are doing, they will not be actually really bad in La Liga, I do not even remember the last time we ever seen them out of top 4 for example, I mean that may exist in the past but I do not think that it happened that frequently. Last season they ended up being second in the league AND go to semi finals in the champions league world so I believe it is not going to be that difficult for them to be actually that good.

I don’t see anything he has got to offer in the Arsenal side. Varane is a big loss for Real Madrid because he can play many more seasons but Ramos he stays in Bernabeu, he might not play many matches because of injury and age. In the last season, Ramos has very limited appearance in Real.

Yes, even in Barcelona's first match yesterday the fact that Coutinho was not included in the squad and I think that's a sign that Barcelona don't really need him and will not be kept. What a manager can do if he doesn't have the players to do it? It's a fact that Real needs for sure (at least) one "top shelf" central defender and perhaps a midfielder. Unless the administration of Real, has a secret deal with someone and waits to announce it or puts their faith in some of their youngsters. I don't know though to whom from them Ancelotti can trust the basic CB position.

Cadiz are away and the bookies are quite firmly against them at the moment looking at the odds, but I still remember their shock wins last season against fancier teams so I'm trying not to get tempted to play them, maybe with a goal handicap?
