Certainly, there are not many positives for Barcelona today in a fierce confrontation against the Bilbao it's been always difficult to win games the stadium San Mames many teams aspiring to compete for the title do not get the results they are looking for.

I am not sure if Barcelona can win this match, look like to end in a draw. Athletic Bilbao isn't an easy club to be defeated, especially it is in their home.

As I said, no magical Messi moments, no win for Barcelona. Bilbao is tough to play, especially when they take the lead and can fully concentrate on their defense. If that once happen, Messi is exactly the player you need. I don't think that Koeman will stay for the whole season. They are going to fire him and blame him for weak performances.

Great game by Athletic Bilbao. They should have even won this game if they had taken a couple of their Chances. Barcelona don't have that fear factor anymore, ss a matter of fact, It started last season. Their defense was so shaky and was always teased by the Bilbao attackers. I expect them to have a very hard time winning some upcoming games, even against weak opponents.

When Barcelona played their first game of the season and won Real Sociedad 4-2, someone said that Barcelona will barely feel the absence of Messi but I said otherwise. It might be too early to say for sure but it's already looking like this season would be like one of Barcelona's worse in recent years. We might likely see strings of consecutive poor performance like that of today that saw Barcelona narrowly escape with one point.

Third position is not bad for Barcelona. The ended in third position last year and if this year, they can keep that position after losing Messi, it is acceptable result for them.

Memphis Depay started this season so good and Barcelona can hope that he will not be another failure like Coutinho, Dembele or Griezman. Memphis joined them with free transfer and at least if he fails, Barcelona will lose less money for Memphis.

I don't know if it's stupidity or because of limitations for sure as a coach he knows better what to do or what is best, as a spectator we don't see him doing anything in defence and indeed it's a bit strange when their defense is in the spotlight. Having leveled the match against Athletic Bilbao, Barcelona fans were able to release their nerves. At 75 minutes, they manage to level the match. This is the whole picture of Barcelona's current position. If things continue like this, then it's a major concern. Memphis deserves kudos for scoring. Ath. Valencia barely saved one point with the goal came in the last minutes of the game. And I can't say that Granada played better actually. But they were really good at keeping the score as 1-0 for a long time. Valencia really deserved to win this game I think.

Barcelona were not good enough and A. Bilbao played better actually. They could have scored more goals and won this one. But they weren't able to do so and Barcelona took advantage of it. It ended 1-1 but I'm 100% sure that Barcelona are not happy about their performance.

Well, no. Even though Real Madrid and Barcelona seem average, they're not. They lost good players, yes, but even without them they can hold on to a high level this season and then become leaders again. In the Champions League, I agree, they are unlikely to perform well, but at least one of them will reach at least the quarterfinals. Besides them in La Liga there is only competitive Atletico Madrid and that's it, so really the championship this year will be boring

Today, Real Sociedad are going to play a home game against Vallecano first. As we all know, Real Sociedad got a huge 4-2 defeat by Barcelona and started badly. Vallecano also got a defeat against Sevilla 3-0. Normally, Real Sociedad are stronger than Vallecano. And they have a big opportunity to get their first victory of the season. I don't expect Vallecano to make Sociedad much difficulties in this.

Failing to win the away match vs Athletic Bilbao made Barcelona fail to get full points in the second week of Laliga. Bilbao were effective and had chance to kick more balls into the net and they managed to put Barcelona under pressure for 20 minute with a 1-0 win before Depay equalized. I feel R. Koeman should be held responsible for Barcelona's weak attack in that match which made him fail to get full points.
