Losing to Rayo vallecano is very much the worst thing Barcelona can do, and with the way Barcelona fans sold out their home to Frankfurt in the Europa league, this shows how the club are losing its fans faith. I think there is a problem now with this club and if not tackled may linger even into next season, Barcelona has quality players to turn their situations but now is for their coach Xavi to find a way to balance the team to achieve greatness.

Today, Barcelona will spoil bet slips for many people again.

Barcelona is a disaster for the punters for a while now, loosing the second game in few days time and they are failing to score a single goal and visitors scoring a goal against them. It is really pathetic to see these kind of performance from them and if they fail to score a goal in this match i wont be placing a bet on them for a while as i lost a lot of money because of their pathetic performance  .

At the moment it is definitely too late for Xavi to be able to make any changes. I think, however, that what we are seeing will have a very large impact on the transfer decisions. Now it seems difficult to see Barcelona score 2 goals in the remaining minutes of the match. Every foul was exploited by Rayo Vallecana players to buy time because they wanted to keep the win. Of course Barcelona are under a lot of pressure at the moment, they seem to have to face the fact that this is a game that didn't live up to expectations. Embarrass yourself? I don't think so because I think they just deserve to be called unlucky.

I don't know what an idea a coach might have at this point, but maybe they should fight for a penalty..   Although with such a terrible effectiveness, there is a high risk that this shot would also be missed.  

In the end they couldn't make a goal there even though they did change their tactics to be more attacking, Rayo's defense was still very tight in this match.

I don't think we can blame the whole team for the result of this match. It's a bit hard for me to say that strikers are terrible because they tried. Barcelona had everything to win this match apart from efficiency. Admittedly, the Rayo defense did their job brilliantly. I don't know if it's a mental burden or just bad luck, but I hope they will win in the next match, because I don't want throw the next bet slip to the bin.

It's safe to say that Real Madrid going to take the championship this season. Surely they won't butcher up any last fixtures that still remain. After all, This isn't beyond surprise though, way before Barcelona's Cadiz defeats, Xavi has said goodbye to La Liga.

By the way, it was a great job by Betis in the Copa del Rey finale. They managed to beat Valencia by penalty shoot-outs (5-4) and reached the title again after a seventeen-year break. It must be a really meaningful championship for Betis as they have had a great season so far too. They must be very contented with Pellegrini's management. And as far as I know, they have already extended his contract too. If they go on like this, they might even make it to the Champions League next season too. But it must be still very satisfying for them to reach this level also.

I think that Real Betis played well even in the actual match. because in my opinion, they had a lot more control over that match compared to Valencia. 

For me, it looks like Valencia was trying to play really rough, and trying to do so they also considered a lot of fouls. Other than that I think both the teams played really well and the match was quite even in my opinion. It was a great match and I will say that the conclusion was deserving.

I would have doubts that Real Madrid would win La Liga championship this season if I had not watched Barcelona's games against Cadiz and today. Real Madrid has dominated the Spanish league and can open champagne at this point. Even if there are theoretical chances, no one has any doubts that who will be at the first place this season is already known.

Actually they showed signs of this in last two games. Poor finishing cost them some points. Rayo Vallecano scored early and didn't need to attack more. I highlighted this threat in local thread. When Barca fall back it's hard for them to unlock set defense, that's why scoring an early goal was important but they couldn't do that. Championship is gone already, I still think Barca will finish the league second, not that it matters much.

I expected. I'm not talking about specific matches, but about the overall result. I wrote a long time ago that the short-term "mobilization" and psychological pumping of players that Xavi practices (plus the outdated Tiki Taka) can give results in a short period of time, but then everything will return to normal. Now we see not "unexpected" results, but natural ones. Unexpected (even for me) was the length of the "successful" series that Barcelona was able to issue.

100% true. Barcelona found "yesterday" and the opponents "remembered" how to successfully deal with it, but for some reason the results now surprise many, as if this is not a repetition of the stages passed.

The team is fatigue and injury plagues and xavi tactics has been found out; if you limit Barcelona spaces in midfield you give them more possession and leave them toothless, now they 2nd position of the league is open while Real Madrid has a 15 points gap in the league. Who will get the 2nd place of the league? Who will miss out on top 4 if this bad form continues? The race is on!!

Agree. There is something wrong with them, 2 times missing points in a home match. I don't think Barcelona will have difficulties playing against Cadiz and Rayo Vallecano, these are weak teams in La Liga. But in fact, they were defeated by 2 weak teams, sadly it is when they played with the full team. They have no experience with injured players, so no reason to lose. I assume Barcelona players have a little problem with Xavi or Barcelona management, so their motivation to play is decreasing.
