once again we couldn't win, it seems to me that this season we won't win la liga, something tells me it will be a season of headaches

Funny, I think Messi used to leave because of rights issues he had regarding the salary being cut. If Messi returns his salary will be intact? it is a major factor. I think Barcelona will have financial difficulties if Messi returns. Some of the new players who come also have a considerable salary. They will bear huge expenses, and maybe it will make their finances worse even more. So Messi will not come back as long as there are financial problems in Barcelona.

I don't think you need play any game before you can consider an attack the best, you can make an informed guess based on the players they've got, When Barcelona signed Suarez, he was still serving a ban and they were already tipped to become one of the best trio combination ever.

The clash friendly between Barcelona and Juventus ended in a draw and was an amazing performance the game displayed. The Barcelona attacking players mentioned above are quite capable as now what is deadly for me is enough for those who can score more goals than one of them, but for defense it still needs to be strengthened again but with the arrival of Jules Kunde who will sign His contract I think is sufficient as an ideal centre-back but whether another defender will be needed to get stronger, I think it is necessary to improve on one of them.

Another weakness may be from a financial point of view
To be honest I still don't feel that they are weak defensively because indeed they have some young players now and this is something good there.
Although indeed some of their defenders are obtained for free but still this is something that can indeed be used as a substitute for some of their old defenders.

As someone correctly wrote, Barcelona went all-in. If that spending doesn't lead to some super success like a La Liga title and reaching the Champions League final, things could end in disaster. I don't understand the motives for risking so much - after all last season Barcelona got the second place, why not settle for it for a few years and put the financial affairs in order? It would have been a smart decision from a business point of view, but the ambitions of the management have completely diverged from the real possibilities of the club.

That is the whole thing, if they keep doing this then I do not think that it would be really reasonable for them to do anything but a title this year, anything under that would be a horrible one. Barcelona may have played a better game against Juventus, but at the same time we need to realize it was a draw. They can't really keep doing this or get these kinds of results all the time, it would be something that is dangerous to keep it going like this with barely any income from the most important parts of the income bracket.

This is why I think it is quite clear that they are taking a risk that can't happen to help them, it looks like there is a chance, but that's too much of a big risk.

Two defeats to Barcelona in two different competitions (Laliga and friendlies) are two reasons to say Barcelona are starting to rise. Their performance improved and they performed better in various matches. The players that Barcelona have at the moment are much better and Barcelona's goal stats have improved since Xavi took over. I gues Real Madrid are starting to be wary of Barcelona mainly because of the improvement in the quality of the players. Barcelona are finally starting to get on track for a return to the title competition, so fans should expect that success this season.

Most recently, Barcelona also managed to overwhelm Juventus throughout the match. Lewandowski, Aubameyang and Dembele were the three players who really made the Juventus defense fall apart despite 2-2 being the end of the match.

Good point. Barcelona might have managed it to assemble a good squad except for the defence, toegther with a good coach in the person of Xavi that is very much familiar with the league and Barcelona's style of play but, the league is yet to kick off. Yeah, Barcelona might have won there last game with Real Madrid last season and have won there friendly just recently but that's that for now, its just a friendly and looking at Real Madrid frm last season, the league was already won so, they had little to struggle for.  Although this might go a long way to impact on the players a winning mentality but we've got to wait on the league to kick off before making any conclusions on what could be the best tram. It's going to be down to Barcelona and Real Madrid for sure though.

Yeah, it's too early to say that. Even though their players are good in history and can perform optimally in every match when La Liga starts, but health is the most important thing because later it will not only be about La Liga but chasing the Liga champion trophy as well, so there will be many challenges in terms of the most important financial.

After the match ended, I got into an argument with a Barcelona fan who the loss according to him, is just a routine warm-up and not relevant. The rumours about Messi to return to Barcelona doesn't reflect the reality for me. Because there is no way Barcelona are meeting his demands after these transfers and being in such a bad financial condition. They should just stop making things worse for themselves. Laporta just leaved the door open for Messi by making a statement but I hope that they don't make a move and mess up things more. Barcelona's current squad is good enough to be able to do nice things.

What do you mean? Messi's return won't be too bad for the team I think, but only if their financial situation improves, even if it's a year from now. I think Leo himself would very much like to finish his career at Barcelona, probably why the door to this team is not closed to him. In this case Dembele seems to be playing better under Xavi now but I can quite agree to say their defense is a bit slack.
On the other hand, we can actually see that Juventus are currently playing better than before and obviously this can be a good record if they are destined to meet in the Champions League.

Actually I still feel weird when I hear that Barcelona want to bring Messi home. It doesn't mean I forbid Barcelona to do that, but they have to adapt to the current state of the team. They have cut the salaries of some players, and most recently they will cut Frenkie de Jong's salary. Isn't it selfish when it's a wish they have to achieve, but it hurts the other players on the team?

I also think the same as you. It seems a bit weird to bring back Messi when they have already too many talented players in their squad. Barcelona must think about the squad balance and the future of young players. Having Messi in their squad will get rid of the young players' opportunities to shine. Raphinha and Dembele must spend a lot of time on the bench if Messi returns to Barcelona. Because of the main position of Messi as a wright-winger, Raphinha and Dembele must share the position. It is not good for the future of Raphinha and Dembele. Another reason is Messi has a very high salary. Barcelona will spend too much money to pay his salary.

Barcelona squad so far are quite okay that they can be rely on, with what they have in their team it is possible for them win trophies for the new season.  What Barcelona needed so much is to work on their defense and if they can get players that can score goals back to back in every game then I think they are good to go to win any league.
