I think that Real Madrid played really well and dominated the match. Even though that is not quite evident from the scoreline. Real Madrid actually scored more than once in that match. But it was ruled offside. This was quite an eventful match. And I am surprised that it had only one goal in it. Both teams had more chances later in the match but the goalkeepers from both teams played really well.
I think that Barcelona should be able to win in the next match against Celta Vigo. And if that happens, Barcelona is going to go back to 1st place because the goal difference between Barcelona is far better compared to Real Madrid.

Not really excited watching Real Madrid games last night after winning from Getafe, despite fast goals scoring actually not created many attempt and little poor performance at second half after Getafe dominance and almost can scoring goals at the end games. However won only with one goals have enough for Real Madrid get 3 points and lead first standing while waiting Barcelona games result in last few hours later.
Barcelona face bad option have most another important games next few days later on Champion League against Inter Milan, seems will use second player composition in tonight games against with Celta Vigo but have chance can't failure get full points. Keep use all regular player composition have chance could be get injury and Barcelona not completed player composition on Champion League match against Inter Milan.

Right now it feels like neither Barcelona nor Real Madrid is going to lose any match. Real Madrid is obviously the defending champion of La Liga and they are determined to play at their highest level in order to defend their title. On the other hand, Barcelona knows very clearly that there is a lot at stake for them. And they are also not doing very well in the Champions League. So it will be very important for them to do well in La Liga.

Right after the win of Real Madrid, we saw Barcelona doing the same. And we also saw some really attacking football from Barcelona. It was looking like Barcelona was playing with some real intent to win. And even though the goal that was scored by Pedri was a little lucky, Barcelona was the one who deserved to win the match.

Barcelona played like never before, they defended more than attacked. Luckily Celta Vigo didn't score in the second half so Barcelona can still get full points and return to the top of the standings.
Barcelona's focus is on the match against Inter, they must fight to qualify for the knockout round. Xavi did not want to see his team fail in the group stage as experienced last season when it was still held by Ronald Koeman. Barcelona will try to get three points from Inter to open the door to go to the UCL knockout stage.

It's a great match. It should have been a draw because both teams were outstanding. Celta Vigo controlled the second half. Gavi and Pique were unstoppable, and Ter Stegen really saved Barcelona, btw good 3 points. Laliga will be more interesting and exciting, next week will determine the top of the standings between Madrid and Barcelona in El Clasico.

Real Madrid are advantageous about this because their current condition in their group is very comfortable. But it is the opposite for Barcelona. They need to win against Inter no matter what to have a big chance to qualify for next round. If they don't manage to finish the game early then this would cause a quite much fatigue.

But I still don't think of betting on any side. Both teams to score has a quite nice odd like 1.50 to bet on. If this doesn't happen it would be a big surprise I think.

The match that many people have been waiting for and will be the match that will determine who is the best among them. There were two completely different halves in the Barcelona - Celta Vigo game. Barcelona dominated the first half and Pedri scored the winner. However in the second half, Celta Vigo somehow were able to do the same against Barcelona as for dominance. They found so many chances to score but wasted all of them. Barcelona players seemed very desperate to be productive in this half interestingly. I wonder what changed this much quickly. They could have lost their lead because of this struggle.

I did not watch the game, but I can assume that Barcelona relaxed in the second half, since technically after scoring a goal they already had 3 points in this game. Therefore, all the thoughts of Barcelona were transferred to the game Barcelona - Inter, which can be said to have become key in the first half of this season, since if the result is unsuccessful, Barcelona leaves the Champions League. This could lead to the loss of points, but Celta did not take advantage of their chance.

You are right as now they are going to face few crucial matches in coming days so just because of this they were not playing with full force and after having led in first half their game plan change completely with having tight defence which give them positive result, and they were able to have win which give them three points, and now they are still at the top of the league table.

Most chances they could be beat Inter at the home and have their all chances on for going into next round but still they fail to have positive result then surely they could be slipped to UEFA Europa Cup and then their main target could be La Liga title instead of having positive result from UEFA events which are secondly choice for them in the future.

I understand that he wants to give other players an opportunity, but switching around the lineup will not benefit the club. Wednesday's game against Inter Milan requires Xavi to get that right. To advance to the next round of the Champions League, they must defeat Inter Milan.

Their opponents in the Champions League are tougher than the match against Celta Vigo. Yes, of course they have to play better, because they have to win games to qualify for the knockout phase of the Champions League. From Elche's current condition, I think it's still difficult to predict whether they can win or not, especially when Mallorca's condition is clearly better than them.
On the other hand, they actually have to be able to maximize their home games, especially they also need to win the actual match to maintain and improve their match statistics.

I think the squad of Real Madrid is more complete and dependent compared to Barcelona. And Barcelona obviously has some problems with its defensive lineup. So I think Real Madrid might be able to win the match. But Real Madrid also did not show a good defense this season till now.

They are at the first place on the La Liga table. I think this is going to go on till the end of the season.
As Tony116 said, you can see, Barcelona and Real Madrid have the exact same points. Barcelona is just a head on goal difference.

Maybe Barcelona has nothing to worry about in this match, Celta will concede a lot of goals from Barcelona if they don't manage to defend well. I think Lewandowski will have another great match in Laliga today, he should have chances to score in this match. But I have seen him fail in the Champions League especially in the last 2 matches.

The way Barcelona is playing this season is really appreciative. I think Barcelona knows that they will at least have to win the La Liga.
Otherwise they put a lot of effort and money into this season. And if they fail there will be consequences.

I agree that it's defence, but I think the bench part is the key part to focus on. I mean like you said, when there are players who are injured or booked, then the bench is not good enough to replace anyone, when everyone is healthy and playing, I think they do not lack in any position, all positions are great, but at the end of the day you need to have a good bench to make sure that if something goes wrong, it would be good to recover from that.

This is a difficult thing to handle, but it is not an impossible one, they just need to find some cheaper level players who would sit and wait for their turns. They have a lot of games, so sometimes even if all players are capable of playing, they just take a rest day.

Now first challenge is Inter and then Real Madrid if they are able to win both matches then surely this is going to be clear indication that in this season they are going to have one title surely otherwise Real Madrid is already in dominance, and they can go again king of Spain with their quality and performance.

Elche has already scored at halftime to take the lead. The game was in Mallorca's favor during the first half despite the fact that they did not score from their chances, even haven more possession than them. Elche scored a goal despite having just one shot on target. They must maintain a strong defense. If not, I believe Mallorca will equalize in the second half because they currently have a lot of control of the game. Let's see what happens in the second half. Elche are last in the standings and, if they win, they may record their first win today.

I can assure you that basically the Champions League and La Liga are equally important for Barcelona. Maybe because stronger opponents like Bayern Munich and Inter have made them lose in 2 matches in a row, but still Barcelona have a chance to finish second if Inter drop points in the next 3 matches.

In Laliga Barcelona appeared impressive with an unbeaten record in 8 matches in a row. You can also notice that Barcelona didn't concede more goals until week 8 which leads many to believe that they are the strongest challenger to date. So there's no reason to underestimate them in the upcoming El Clasico, after all Real Madrid have lost several times since Xavi took over as coach.
