I find it difficult, I will be realistic to give la Liga champion this year to Barcelona. we know, real madrid is seem to be relax and not so insistent on la liga. I think real madird have a realistic to bring target to Champion League. they are good if play on champiosn league, but bad when play on local league. i thought what should they do now is keep in win in what games they playing it.

When La Liga comes to last 14 matches, the gap between Barcelona and Real Madrid is 9 points that is big enough. Especially when we count for recent poor performance of Real Madrid in La Liga, it is impossible for them to equalize it and I even see a risk that Real Madrid will let Barcelona expanding the gap to bigger than 9 points.

Their recent forms in La Liga are oppositely that plus with their different situations. Barcelona no longer have to fight in Europa League but Real Madrid still participate in Champions League. If Real Madrid successfully beat Liverpool after a final whistle at Bernabeu, they will likely spend less focus on La Liga in coming weeks. This will give Barcelona more advantage in their race in La Liga.

The reason behind Real Madrid's loss of domestic league form lately has actually been unclear to me.

It is strange for me too but it seems their old players hit their physical limits after two season playing many matches in the past season and in this season plus with World Cup 2022 matches too. I don't think it is coincidence that Real Madrid performance in La Liga became worse after World Cup 2022.

But I know they have a great manager in Carlo Ancelotti who is a UEFA Champions League expert. To me they are  the team to beat in this season's Champions  League competition and I have strong feelings that they are gonna make it to the finals and probably retain the title at end of the season. They might not be that good in La Liga but they surely know how to beat other teams champions League.

It is one more reason that they will concentrate more for Champions League. Especially they mostly have a spot for quarter final from which they will only have to play a few more matches until a finale.

Robert Lewandowski absence is surely hurting, but now they are improving with replacements as well which is positive for them and their hopes for the title as well because now they are playing alone in La Liga and have not busy schedule which bring problems for the players.

How sure are you that Barcelona will get three points in this match? It is not possible to say for sure. Maybe Barcelona's team is stronger than Athletic Bilbao. And they're a pretty consistent team. I think that it would be so easy to imagine if barcelona can lose so much points but the question is will that happen with barcelona? Who would have imagine that Villareal will be on 6th place in LaLiga after such a devastating start of the season with defeats in a row and draws in a row that really dragged them down but after a while they start to find again that pace from last season and look where they are now...back on European spots like they are used to.  

Villarreal's current standings are pretty good, it's nice to see them in the top 6 teams. But their fixtures in the coming weeks are quite difficult, their opponents will usually be strong teams. They have matches of Real Sociedad, Real Betis, Real Madrid and Osasuna ahead of us. All of these teams are pretty close to Villarreal and they are strong teams
That's why I think their ranking in the league will change. Villarreal will lose a few matches again

Barcelona can certainly be happy with their 9 point lead over Real Madrid. However, there are still possibilities for either team to come out on top. Personally, I hope that Barcelona takes advantage of the points that Madrid lost and continues to move forward with their lead. I am supposed to believe that this time, Barcelona will win the La Liga trophy. If they do, it will be one of the biggest achievements that Xavi has ever made. Winning La Liga tournament is never easy, but I have complete trust on him. It's visible that Barcelona are doing very well under his leadership. This season, the league title is ultimately meant for the Blaugranas.

I wouldn't argue with anyone who thinks that Barcelona is going to win the La Liga this season. It's is obvious for so many reasons. When compared with the other teams in the La Liga, Barcelona have the best stats so far, Xavi's strategy has been able to make them the best with the most goals scored and also the team with the least goals conceded. Even when you consider it, Real Madrid can't even see their backs because they are already on top of the table with 9 points. Who can beat that? I want to to have this form because with this, the Europa league and UCL are within their reach.

In my view and assessment of Villarreal, basically Villarreal is a team that deserves to be in the top six. So, even though Villarreal is currently in sixth place, for me it's a natural thing and it's not something special, it doesn't matter if Villarreal has experienced a deep drop before, because this can happen to all teams.

Also, normally Villarreal and Valencia don't have that much of a gap but at this moment, they really have a very wide gap and Valencia is in danger of being relegated. Anyway, Villarreal at this moment also still has a schedule in the Europa Conference League, so if this season Villarreal finishes in sixth place again this season, then there are still no significant changes for Villarreal this season.
