Sevilla are still in a very troubling condition in the La Liga right now. They are still right above the relegation zone and they are not even ahead by points. In addition to that their next match is also against a team that are in this zone now which is Almeria. They are sharing the points and I don't see this match easy for Sevilla at all. They have got some wins against smaller teams on paper recently actually but they still don't seem trustworthy at all. Because their "good form" didn't last long either.

I understand Sevilla that they are caring about the Europa League title more now as it seems to be their only chance for qualifying for the Champions League once again. But they need to be careful in the La Liga at the same time. Otherwise they might even relegate.

Who would have imagine that Villareal will be on 6th place in LaLiga after such a devastating start of the season with defeats in a row and draws in a row that really dragged them down but after a while they start to find again that pace from last season and look where they are now...back on European spots like they are used to.

I highly doubt that, I mean if we are talking about mathematical possibility then I agree that there is a "chance" of that happening, there is no denying that it is still mathematically possible. However lets be honest and say that Real is not winning this year, they have already taken the point difference high enough that it looks as unlikely as it gets.

Barcelona would need to go on a losing streak for something like this to happen, is it possible for Barcelona to lose 2 games in a row while Real winning them to make it closer and more believable? To strengthen Real Madrid position in current standings they must to get three points in that match, considering that their position is also not very good at the moment they are losing points to be closer with Barcelona there. After my carefully analysis of this Real Madrid team, I think their manager Carlo Ancelotti has already conceded that they are not going to be Spanish champions at the end of the season and that is why they have prioritized the UEFA Champions League as their only chance of winning a major silverware this season. They have a domestic match to play against Espanol on Saturday at their home turf and I think they'll win the match but their Champions League second leg game against Liverpool on Wednesday is more important match to the club and that is the match they are more concerned about.
