They deserve this number and I like what Madrid are doing now by changing the jersey numbers immediately.

However his statistics hasn't been very impressive in times he played as the centre-forward. I don't agree with you. I mean barcelona will slowly improve their toughness in every transfer season and that is done in terms of their financial strength. This season barcelona have achieved their target of winning the laliga Trophy and it was done quite well at a time when the club was in a financial crisis but they were able to get up and win a trophy. if what they said about having financial troubles was true, we won't see a lot of tranfers coming in, at least no expensive ones, the Champions league seems far from them, and i'm pretty sure a lot of people would not think about betting on Barca to win it, La Liga will still be competitive though.

I think, Real Madrid will start experiencing negative things like Liverpool from next season because I don't see any potential players among the players here who can handle that Karim Benzema position very well, and it will take the team a long time before they can get it right.  Martinez is a good player if Real Madrid will accept his past performance to sign him into the team because he is very young like victor Osimhen which he still have more strength to sustain the team to a higher position if the opportunity is given. The two young lads have developed very well under the watch of Ancelotti in these few seasons. Talking about competence and who is fit to wear which Jersey. I support Vinicius Junior for the iconic number 10 jersey. Rodrigo can be given the number 11 jersey but I don't have much emphasis and interest in the jersey because it is not an iconic jersey in Madrid.
That being said, I think Madrid needs a striker who should be older than both Vini and Rodrigo in order to make the attacking line more mature than as it appears to be now.
