I think Luka Modric won't go to Saudi Arabia after the end of his contract with Real Madrid either. I expect him to retire after having his last season here. He can even retire from national football as well at the same time. It just feels like Modric could have gone to a Saudi Arabian team or an MLS team maybe already. Because he is really old now.

Yeah, I’m also willing to bet that most of them(if not all) could have found a contract in Europe that won’t pay as well as the Saudis. Money is the deciding factor when it comes down to these types of transfers. Kante, in my opinion is a very good and talented player and I always loved watching him work the midfield at Chelsea.

This reason is quite reasonable, but Barcelona certainly has to appreciate what Xavi has done in the last season because he managed to lift Barcelona after several seasons with quite disappointing results. I don't even think so. Real madrid has been giving special contract for modric as he will able to leave from madrid anytime. he has got 1 year contract but the problem is if madrid is not also locking him to play 1 year full for madrid.
Madrid was also giving him an option if modric can leave from the club anytime. Modric can freely playing for madrid now without even think if he can leave next year.

He may retire at any time or when he turns 40, but he is currently 37. He may still perform better than some of the younger players on the field.

His success last season was because Xavi brought Barcelona to win the league even though Barcelona failed in the UCL, but it looks like Xavi still has another chance to show his quality as a coach for Barcelona, especially now that there are already several new players to fill the Barcelona squad. in order to be able to compete next season both in the domestic league as well as the UCL. with Gundogan joining maybe it will give color to Barcelona as well.

Most chances we will have extension in contract with this current is going to end 2024, and they already have good result after end of second year, and they won title now they have Champions League even this is tough task, and they need to have good relationship between all parties which will help for having better results he is just 43 years old and this is his second managerial job after having two years in Qatar things are in favor of him and board will decide in coming weeks about all details.

Big clubs don't only target the local league, they always have the ambition to win the Champions League. Barcelona is on a path that can take them further in the Champions League, I can't say Barcelona can win the Champions League anytime soon because they are building a stronger team. The arrival of several new players can add to Barcelona's strength next season, La Liga and the Champions League are priorities that must be achieved in order to boost the club's finances with the prizes obtained after becoming champions.
