Alaves will host out of form Granada at home and I think Alaves should not lose in this match. Alaves lost 2-1 against Barcelona last week. In that game Alaves scored in the first minute of the game but didn't attack much throughout the game, so I wouldn't expect Alaves to lose at home against Granada, a tough game with only one point. It won't be a surprise for anyone if Alaves win by at least one goal.

Alaves is the favorite, but although they look better than Granada, their strength is actually not much different, and thus Granada still has a good chance to get points from this match. Alaves don't have great goal productivity though, as they've only scored 11 goals in the 13 games they've played. Basically La Liga is about Real Madrid and Barcelona so ya, whoever is at the top of the La Liga standings at the moment will not guarantee they will win the title. Carlo Ancelotti is experienced, he needs more backup players, tactics will do some help for the club this season. Real Madrid chances of winning the La Liga title this season is very high, but with the current severe injuries hitting the team, resulting in decline in their performance this season, but definitely they will recover and the important players will served their roles effectively. Though they're trying so hard to fight back to formidable form this season. Honestly I feel like Girona can win this game too. Before anything else I would like to remind of the games in the previous season as well. Because Girona beat them twice. And now Girona are even much better condition in the La Liga. I don't see any reason for not to think this way. But the final score might not be a big one. I expect a win by one goal in short.

Everyone now fancies how far Girona has come in the league,  they have just  seen themselves losing to Real Madrid if I'm completely correct.  Before  the break, they played a against Rayo Vallencano and they did the impossible by winning a club Real Madrid failed to score a goal when they faced  them. Real Madrid cannot depend on this team to be on top of Laliga table for long because the team is not strong enough to withstand some pressure in some opponents, and due to injuries of some of their key players like Vinicius JR that has always been affecting the team’s performance. I think they need to find a way to sign replacement for some players like Vinicius JR and others so that when they are injured they will have player of the same or better quality to replace and keep the team in the right state.

Girona is give us a surprising performance this season, they are currently topping the Laliga table with two points ahead of Real Madrid, and four points ahead of Barcelona after 13 matches. Indeed, Girona should be able to win, considering that so far they are in a good trend. And yes when the both teams met last season, Girona was able to win. But maybe this match will be difficult for Girona, Bilbao is not a weak team either. Especially, we have a long break and Ernesto Valverde may have planned many things for that match against Girona. Well, for the next matches, it will be very challenging for Girona because they will play against some strong teams. They will have schedules against Athletic Club, Valencia, Barcelona, Real Betis, Atletico Madrid. If Girona still can survive at the top of the table after these matches, I can feel confident that they deserve to be the candidate of the winner.  

The possibility of losing is very small because currently Girona is at the top of the standings, meaning the players will definitely continue to try their best to maintain their position and get a win. Today there will only be one match between Alaves and Granada. I didn't bet on this match even though the prediction about Alaves being able to win it really happened but looking at the actual course of the match even though the score is currently 2-0 in favor of Alaves but I still don't see anything interesting in terms of opportunities until now just that the match is a pity to miss because the game between 2 equal clubs like this is always fierce and not too leaning in one direction.
