Girona has a good form that can't be underestimated, they actually did looked like they took everyone unaware as almost nobody expected such form from them this season and how they gradually got the top of the table and literally solidified their position there is really interesting and somehow surprising as they weren't given much attention till they got to the top.

Atletico isn't a weak team either and I don't expect an easy game between these two, I'm very certain it's going to be an interesting and entertaining game and I personally don't have a favorite for this game because I consider both team equally strong and a little above average so I would just expect the best team wins but Girona have got the home advantage and that for me it's an edge upon which they can capitalize to further climb to the top of the table but then I still believe strongly Real Madrid is most likely to win the trophy by the end of the season than girona does.

IMO, firstly, what makes Girona able to perform so far is because they don't have a busy match schedule.  Thus, Michel only focuses his squad on La Liga. as for the Copa de Rey, this match does not really drain the energy of the team and coach. plus, the newcomers that Girona brought in were able to maximize their potential when playing their matches in La Liga. apart from that, the system implemented by the Girona coach does not only focus on their pure stirker. which means, every player is allowed to score a goal if they have the opportunity. it has been proven that in 18 matches Girona has been more productive in terms of scoring goals than the other teams competing in this league. Honestly, I don't like this idea because with the current schedule I think Ancelotti is gambling at great risk if he continues to force their situation now and this is what I don't really like about Ancelotti's leadership in Madrid because this is not the first time he has done this considering that previously when Benzema was injured he also did the same thing and ended up failing Madrid in almost all competitions.

I've just read this news and it could indeed disrupt the situation for Madrid and I agree because Ancelotti always does risky things like this when talking about his coaching because he thinks it can still be done.
My expectations are actually still the same as before despite statements like this from Ancelotti but hopefully he will change his mind and find at least one new defender for Madrid so that the situation can be minimized but if indeed he still entrusts the current players by hoping that Nacho, Tchouameni and Carvajal can improve so as not to bring new players then there is nothing wrong with entrusting this to Ancelotti because we know for sure he is more familiar with the current situation in Madrid.

Today's match Tchouameni was invited back to be a defensive center and the result was 3 points they won even though it was a narrow victory but at least 3 points they managed to achieve.
