The main problem i see in this Supercup is the irregularity of all the teams, Real Madrid seems solid but...... its not so solid they win a lot of games for only one goal with more luck tahn play, Barcelona and Atletico are super irregular, one day they can be a super team, and in the other they drop points against weak teams.

Yeah no boring game in this match and i do appreaciate all of teams that have been working so hard to make it happen unlike el classico match which always giving us boring game. It's time for barcelona to face osassuna very soon.

It was one of the best Derby matches at the start of the year. Even though Atletico Madrid lost that match, I still feel they lost with great honor. Because after all, Atletico Madrid has put up very strong resistance which even kept the score level in normal time. Both teams have played very well and were very aggressive from the start. And these two teams really played like they were in a UCL match. Well, this match really wasn't boring from the start to the end.

Edit: Dani Carvajal brought Real Madrid back to the game in the 86th minutes so the score line has been leveled back to 3:3, looking at the pressure been given to ATM right now I think Real Madrid may win the game if ATM defenders fails to hold them down before the final whistle will be blown. It's been a good game between the two big teams and being a derby match ATM has really improved in their performance because Real Madrid has always dominated them but tonight if the game ends in a 3:3 draw it's a good score for ATM.

Well for the last goal, technically you would blame the keeper, but at another end he wanted to go help and score a goal, however my main issue with the keeper was his inability to have a good pace while pursuing the ball against the Real Madrid player, the player literally came from his back as they where pacing and took the ball from him, that for me was an embarrassment from the atletico Madrid goalkeeper. If the game was without an extra time, definitely it would have been a 3-3 draw, but the extra time gave Real Madrid much needed strength to come back on the game with all their fire power to make it 5-3.

Athletico Madrid had the chance of winning this match when they took on the lead with the first goal in the early minutes of the game but Real Madrid kept on responding stalling every attempt by ATM in holding a lead on putting the scores  from 1:1 to  2:2 scores now.  It's no doubt an intensive game for both sides however in the advent of real Madrid taking a leading ahead in this game ATM wouldn't have the tenacity to catch up as Madrid had done with them twice.  I believe Madrid won't want to disappoint their fans as a home team and will want to make sure they by all means grab a win in this game.

I won't fail to recognize ATM zeal and passion to win the game but the better side eventually got the win.

What was unexpected was that the Real Madrid vs Altletico Madrid match ended without a penalty shootout and a 5-3 win in extra time meant that Real Madrid qualified for the Supercopa final. Anyone who watched last night's match will definitely be heartbroken by the performance of the two teams who countered each other's attacks, resulting in 8 goals in one match. After 90 minutes ended with a 3-3 draw, it was clear that Atletico Madrid were only able to survive and seemed to be aiming for the penalty shootout, but on the other hand, Real Madrid did not want the match to end until the penalty shootout. An extraordinary match from Real Madrid, they didn't give up at all and they proved it again as a club with a high winning mentality in all competitions. The neat performance of Ancelotti's squad deserves extraordinary appreciation and now they just have to wait for the winner of the Barcelona vs Osasuna match which will take place today to determine Real Madrid's opponents in the Supercopa final on the 15th.

I couldn't believe that the match wouldn't end up in a penalty kick but I was proved wrong after the own goal which Joselu almost scored and Athletico defender was pressured to cause the own goal. Madrid deserves the winning because they have being attacking Athletico since the last quarter of the second half to the extra time.

I still see that Real Madrid as the winner of this competition this year because I don't think that if Barca win Osasuna, Barca will not be able to withstand the pressure that Barca will mount on them due to their poor performance currently. Barca lacks defense and they have not being performing up to expectations this season.
