Girona can fight harder and strive for the best results but they will never overcome all the top barriers on their path, they have to maintain high level of consistency if they want to win top matches. FYI, the gap owned by real madrid to the girona is pretty small. If real madrid will make another mistake and it will be lost its change to lead the competition. Real madrid was not losing against rayo but we must be honest if real madrid battered by rayo. I saw that draw as a lose for the club that is still hunting the trophy.
We are getting even closer to the end of season. There will be so many surprises to happen at the end of season. Yet again i was seeing barcelona can only compete for the UCL spot. We have 13 matches remaining but The number 1 and 2 seem still very consistent to get full points till the end of season.

Ancellotti must be doing something to break the low block. Low block was very often used by low tier team to reduce the attacking line of big team. This is the only way owned by the small team to put a lot of its players to create a big wall in front of the goal keeper.

Team has been performing very well since last season. Im thinking ancellotti needs to do some rotations. I saw that madrid keeps repeat the same strategy which can easily be predicted by its opponent. Almost all of big clubs were so struggling to beat the low block strategy.
This strategy puts players as a fortress to defend the goal keeper. The only possible thing to do that through longshoot.

Even though it surprised people by managing to be in first place for several weeks, I think Girona's level and quality is still below Real Madrid. I respect Girona but I am also realistic. One big challenge for a team like Girona is rotating players. A mediocre team that suddenly becomes a title contender will usually struggle in the second half of the season due to injury or fatigue. This is different from a team like Real Madrid which has good squad depth.

In terms of strength, Athletic Bilbao and Girona are not much different and Athletic Bilbao, who played at home, had a slight advantage in winning the match and they proved that with a fairly fierce game until finally Athletic Bilbao managed to win with a score of 3-2.
