It was a lossless week for both teams. It's been a good week for Barcelona, they are currently in second place and Girona are suffering bad losses. Honestly I was jumping for joy when the game was still goalless just because I want the Girona to close in the gap and maybe top the league again but like you said Modric came and spoilt the party. I believe Madrid can never have such a fine player like Modric and for someone like him every coach would want to keep him till he gets tired of playing. About Modric retiring I feel this will be his last season for the club and some speculation went about him staying as one of the coaching staff, don't know how true that is but it will be nice to have him their since Madrid are now filled up with young lads.
