The game was full of surprises as Real Madrid didn't give up until the got an equaliser through the same man who got the first goal for them V Junior, for the record the Real Madrid team made a defensive mistake in the first half so the home team took advantage of it to score two early goals but thanks for V Junior for being the saviour of the team as they shared 1:1 point to keep the league title hope alive.

Real Madrid came back in the game in the second half but it was very difficult for them to get the third goal but doesn't made them unserious, hope you watched the game today cause Girona lost from away and Barcelona was held to a goalless draw by Bilbao.

Another equally surprising thing about the game was Jude Bellingham's red card. The midfielder has been absent for a while due to injury only to come and get a red card in the 90+9 minutes of the game and personally that was not a necessary foul, maybe they were desperate to secure a win I don't just know. I was not surprised that the Barcelona- Bilbao game would end in a draw, for a moment I thought the hosts will snatch a late win because during the last minutes, they seemed to apply more pressure to Xavi's men but it seemed the Barca team were content to hold that point. Girona started the season very well and they had perfect performances in all the ages we saw from them but I think time after time they lose their potential and they can't have good performances like the other games we saw from this team.
Girona lost it with a 1-0 result and now it seems more than anything Real Madrid is happy to see Girona losing points because they have have better situation in the race they have with Girona at the top of the La Liga table.

The encounter against Barcelona yesterday to me seemed like a very fair play because both team had what I would call a balanced game, it was even looking like t some point Barcelona were been out played but not for long tho they got the game all balanced again but regardless of the fact that Barcelona wasn't playing from home, it was expected of them to at least get a goal, a goalless draw was least expected of them because they weren't see as been that weak not to have gotten a goal even if I know too well that Bilbao isn't a weak side and has been really brio This season in their performance and has a good defensive mechanism as well but Barcelona had chances to had broken through the defense but didn't utilize it well enough, I the later part of the second half, Barcelona had some pressure mounted on Bilbo but we're unable to make good use of the pressure to get something out of it, Barcelona still have a problem of not been able to attempt a goal from outside the yard box, this could be a good chance they could explore and get to win games but they had mostly prefer to get the ball I'm the yard box then attempt to get a go which I'm most cases the defenders would have come to the rescue.

Bilbo needed the points just as much as Barcelona dis and that would have been the reason for their performance, nevertheless they both ended up sharing the points equally which wasn't a bad or good one either for both of them because it really didn't add much to their ranking and their position on the table so it's more like they needed one of the team to have won to get the best out of the game.

Barcelona's performance was just very inadequate I'm afraid.    They were decent in the first half maybe but the second half was terrible for them. They wasted a big chance to take Girona's position in the standings by this 0-0 draw as well. It is really sad to see Barcelona in this condition. There is just not any consistency in their effort.

Winning this game might have even mean entering the title race from a point because the point gap with Real Madrid was going to be five points. The players aren't motivated enough and Xavi's announcement of leaving the team by the end of the season might have also made an impact on that.

Real Madrid was clearly treated unfairly in this match. I also agree with your observations about the referee. When Brahim Diaz received the ball and centered it, the referee blew the whistle to end the match, but this is unfair. Because he had to wait for the attack to end.
