Xavi Hernandez was very unlucky to become the manager of Barcelona when the club started to struggle financially but that haven't stopped him from delivering great job as the manager of the club even when he's not provided with the kind of players he wants the club to sign. Last season in the Spanish La Liga, he was able to guide to the club to lift the league title and have also done well to keep them in a good position in the league as well helping them to reach the quarter finals of the UEFA Champions League competition.
However, he's already announced that he's going to leave the club at the end of the season no matter and that there's nothing that's gonna happen that'll stop him from leaving the club. This less pressure on Real Madrid in their domestic League is an advantage for them as against Manchester city who they will be facing who is currently tasked with making sure they are able to win their domestic league game or loose a chance to stay in the premier league top and be able to defend the trophy as the defending champions but then with Real Madrid they don't have any of such pressure so Manchester city is in between trying to get the work done on both sides meanwhile it's almost not possible because even rotational tactics wouldn't work really effectively in cases such as this for them.

Real Madrid could probably use this as an advantage to win this game but then Manchester city is playing from home and loosing at home is something that's not common with Manchester city as they usually make sure to win most of their home games regardless of how the situation surrounding it is but this may actually be different because they are under some kind of pressure, except they are going to prioritize one against the other then they can only one much more than they do with the other.

Yeah Barcelona has been trying to take over 2nd place for the last few weeks and their efforts are supported by Girona who have played poorly in the last 5 matches. Apart from that, Barcelona really needs to win in La Liga matches to increase their confidence when playing in the Champions League and Barcelona must be able to continue this positive trend until next month or before the UCL match. We know that fighting PSG is not easy, therefore Barcelona must prepare everything including player confidence.

I don't agree with you, Real Madrid is not in a calm position because the gap between them and the second place team Barcelona is not much, Real Madrid still has 9 more matches to Play same number with the second place team if they fail to win any match and Barcelona wins their match they make the league to be more competitive once again because they difference in points between them is just 8 points which is not equivalent to 3 matches. In the between Real Madrid and Bilbao will not be an easy game for Madrid this is because Bilbao is already ahead of ATM with one point if they manage to defeat Real Madrid and maintain their performance till the end of the season they will see themselves in the champions league next season so right now Real Madrid needs to be ready to play any team they face with all seriousness to avoid being pressured by Barcelona for the title race.

Xavi insists he won't change his mind and will leave in June, but we'll see. I still hope to keep Xavi for next season, but everything still depends on him. Barca's performance this season is still generally good, even though the team did not invest much. Therefore, Xavi's coaching ability cannot be underestimated. Whatever Atletico Bilbao will do to get them points in this match, they will appear full of motivation to beat Real Madrid. I don't feel the Barcelona side have picked form like you said because of one game they did very well and they're now at the second position of the league table, I prefer the Barcelona of last season to this very one we're seeing, they can slide from that spot after this break if care isn't taken. Both Madrid the league leaders and Barcelona have distractions on their path to becoming a Champions, the champions league, that's why I was expecting Girona to always be a point or 2-3 points ahead of Madrid/Barcelona at this stage of the campaign and if you talk about Barcelona doing well now that they're in the quarter finals of the champions league I believe they played and got to this very round base on luck.
Barcelona's form of recent can't grant them any trophy at the moment because if you check teams that are in the quarter finals of the champions league you'd rate them out, to me between Barcelona and Bayern Munich (that are having a bad season) I'd say the Spanish side would fall out before the German side.

Rumors of Mbappe moving to Real Madrid are almost certain. But we have not seen any official news yet. Since we haven't seen the official news yet, I'd say Mbappe still has a chance to renew his contract with PSG . Because we have seen Mbappe behave like this in the last few seasons.
