It's really funny if we look at Atletico's big matches this season because they were so fierce against Real Madrid and so helpless against Barcelona. I agree that they seemed like a "docile cat" out there. I thought their poor performance was due to exhaustion after their match against Inter. They were tired and not playing with their entire squad, which explains a lot. Im confident that a two-week vacation will allow them to relax, recover, and return stronger. Actually, it doesn't matter if you want to compare when looking at the current performance for Barcelona because they do have a positive trend and an increase in current performance, it's just that looking at the current conditions I don't really agree when saying Madrid is lucky because after all when the season starts all have the same opportunity and when competing in the top standings or the race for the trophy it certainly depends on the performance they have because in the end that is the initial benchmark considering that good performance starts the competition that occurs.

Perhaps, Barcelona win wasn't a surprise either but what was a surprise was the final score, because Barcelona managed to get big win with a clean sheet of 0-3. Obviously, a defeat with a score like this is a bad result for Atletico which team playing at home. But yes, with Barcelona success this is certainly a decent position for Barcelona to be able to finish in second place. Barcelona's play really impressed me; Athletico Madrid also had excellent chances, but their finishing were bad. I first assumed that Athletico Madrid would make the match difficult for Barcelona, but I was quite disappointed by their performance, especially their defensemen.

I think Barcelona's playing has really improved. Barcelona can meet up Real Madrid in the long title run this season, there's enough reasons for this particular elite team to become promising in the La Liga title race this season.

Every elite team have a problem they're trying hard to resolved this season and Barcelona own just happen to be severe injuries on their key players this season. Barcelona appointed Xavi Hernandez because they believe he was the main man to revived the club from financial struggles. He will continue doing their best this season, they're elite team and picking up their best was an important phase for them. Barcelona was ready to absorb every pressure of Atlético Madrid this season.
