That's a wrap for Spanish football this weekend. Aside from. Athletico Madrid,  All teams in the top of the La liga table won their games. Starting with Barcelona, then Girona won yesterday with a 2-0 scoreline. Then Madrid rounded things up with that 4-0 thumping of Celta Vigo whose woes continue as they only sit 2-points away from the drop zone. In my opinion, Girona still chasing for the La liga title is still very much possible especially if Madrid starts dropping points in the near future

Just like i said before after Atletico Madrid lost from Cadiz yesterday then this could be good opportunity for Bilbao to cut their points gap but unfortunately it wouldn't be so simple because i just realized Bilbao had a problem with their away matches and since January Bilbao has through an 4 away matches and the results is not really good because from those matches Bilbao only can collect 2 points and still unable to gets the winning results even few weeks ago Bilbao only playing draw against weak team Almeria

And for Las Palmas 6 wins and 3 loses at home proven Las Palmas is not the team who can be underestimate because their performance at their home ground is quite stable and sometimes Las Palmas too can performing well and succeed to beat big teams just like Atletico Madrid so i don't think this is easy match for Bilbao and for squad conditions Las Palmas players in the good shape including their key player Kirian Rodriguez and for Bilbao Ander Herrera still hard struggling to recover from his injured but besides him all of Bilbao players in the good fitness and actually from recent performance and squad quality certainly Bilbao much better than Las Palmas but after seeing Bilbao away matches records i was very doubt they can able to overcomes Las Palmas and i was thinking probably this match will ended to draw and this option has high odds @3.50 or both teams to scores for safe bets

It seems Atletico Madrid is sleeping and they don't want to get up any time soon. They are losing opportunities against the team they had to normally win and the game against Cadiz was one example, I was predicting to see Atletico Madrid would win this match easily against Cadiz but they couldn't and Atletico Madrid lost it with a 2-0 result which really wired for me to see this bad performance from this team.
Atletico Madrid was known for their good performance they were usually racing with Real Madrid and Barcelona at the top of the table but losing this match made Atletico Madrid far from the top side and they even have to be careful to don't lose their place in the fourth place of the table to Bilbao, and Blibao is very lucky to see Atletico Madrid is this weak and poor situation.

Real Madrid is a club that no matter how poor their performance can be in a match, they are still in the better position of winning the match. Today's performance is better than their last game in La Liga because they are playing very sharp and dominating the game.

Barcelona only could score 1 goal against a small team like Mallorca. I don't know why Barcelona attackers so difficult to score against this team. I know Mallorca performed quite impressive in Copa Del Rey, they even could reach the final round. But in La Liga, Mallorca is just a weak team, they are only in 15th place. I think Barcelona should be easy scoring goals, moreover they are playing at home. Barcelona also has the motivation to win 3 points because they compete with Girona for the runner-up position. Barcelona should play aggressive to score goals.

Anyone knows the reason why Xavi decided to put Lewandowski on the bench? I haven't been following any Barcelona games recently, but he is still their best scorer with 12 goals. Although I think that this is not a good statistic for him after 28 games. It is actually quite a poor performance by the former best player in the world. Ferran Torres is the second best scorer with only 7 goals. The good old Barcelona times are over when they had like three top scorers on almost the same level.

Based on the schedule Girona will face 3 difficult matches in the upcoming game at least Girona must win 2 of these 3 matches to be said to have recovered.

Somehow I was very sure that Barcelona would take over the 2nd place before the end of the season although Barcelona is not consistent but at least they are unbeaten in the last 5 matches. Barcelona had to fight to get the win against Mallorca and it was just Yamal's brilliant strike that made the difference. They still lack that clinical finishing, making them miss created goal-scoring chances. I think the club's main focus now will be how to beat Napoli in this week's Champions League tie.

It was an outstanding performance from Girona and this win has also put more pressure on Real Madrid who is now topping La Liga with seven points. They have lost some points in the past which made me doubt their ability to win the league but it seems they are not giving up. They don't look like they're going to lose any points. Still, Girona is trying to win every match with hope. They lost both matches against Real, which created a big disadvantage for them. Yes, it is quite difficult to score against Celta Vigo which should be very easy, but Real Madrid always has difficulty scoring when they don't have a reliable striker and relying on Vinicius alone doesn't seem to be able to be like before and it's normal that Real Madrid actually only scored 2 score due to 2 scores resulting from own goals.
I was quite impressed that even though it seemed like I was having difficulty scoring, I could at least consistently get 3 points to widen the gap with the runner up club and the score scored Arda Guler was the first score since joining Real Madrid and this was a good start for this young player.
This may have been Ancelotti's strategy which succeeded in seeing Celta Vigo weakness and scoring in the second half.

It seems that I see Villarreal experiencing a positive trend this time, being able to appear very consistently, getting 3 wins and 2 draws, which looks very good for continuing to climb above the rankings to get into the top 10.
Initially the match was very interesting when both clubs were attacking each other and I tried to focus on seeing the playing style of Alexander Sorloth who recently made a very good contribution to helping Villarreal get the winning score and this will be good news for the supporters who currently continue to put their trust in if Villarreal can get into the top 10.

After having previous draw against Valencia and having to be willing to lose all the points, today Real Madrid gave surprise by getting big 4 - 0 win over Celta and of course this victory strengthened Real Madrid position at the top of the standings.
