But what makes it seem impossible for Girona or difficult for Girona to recover at this moment or in the rest of the season is. The fact that lately Girona has failed to get a victory, even though Girona only plays against teams in the lower zone, or also plays against teams in the relegation zone. It's not Girona's 6-point advantage that means their chances of finishing in the top 4 are wide open this season, but because the performance of Athletico Madrid and Athletic Bilbao is also inconsistent so they are not that threatening to Girona's position.

I wouldn't expect too much from Girona, because even being in the top 4 is already a big achievement for them. So everything feels so balanced that no one knows the future for either Girona or Barcelona. I think I quite agree with your opinion that Girona is still not finished and will soon return to its best performance. This lead will not matter most times as all teams that fall within second to fourth position will have equal opportunity to participate in the champions league the following season. The first is always the priority and when a team can’t finish in the first position, they fight to finish in the top four of the table which will be a comfortable result to end the season with. In the last three seasons, this is actually the first time Girona is coming up with such a performance so let's not expect so much of them already as they may not be able to meet up with your expectations, rhey literally even look lucky as it at some point became obvious that they have actually been lucky getting to this point if not as their norm usually is they should be within the 9th 5th position on the table.

Obviously just like Leverkusen in the bundesliga, Girona happens to be in their lucky season but theirs is such that they wouldn't be able to still win the league title regardless but will only managed to get to the Champions league next season. It's all good, but I doubt that there was even the slightest chance for the referees commission to confirm that Liverpool deserved a penalty there. The craziest decision ever was when one of their goals was disallowed after they VAR failed to do the checks correctly. I can understand that this starts to matter now for Liverpool. FC Barcelona will have to keep an eye on Robert Lewandowski this summer. The club is eager to get rid of the Polish player. There is an operation that could facilitate his departure. It could turn them into contenders once again if Lewandowski gets back in form.

There is no doubt we have significant drop of performance in their game for last few weeks but still I have no serious threat for them to lost their chance for the top four because their home performance is still at the top, and they can beat any team which is giving them good chance for staying into top four with most chances now they can lose their chances for the top two, but they still capable of having Champions League ticket for the next season.

Atlético Madrid and Barcelona are their toughest rivals in coming matches and with them if they are able to have points this could be big success for them, and now we are having good competition between Athletic Bilbao and Atlético Madrid for the fourth spot even Atlético Madrid is favourite but still things are looking not easy for them while now they are also preparing for the quarterfinal against Borussia Dortmund in coming weeks.

Because Girona is still not far behind Barcelona in the La Liga table and in the future there is no guarantee that Barcelona will not lose again in important matches in the remainder of this season.

Good and bad days are always with the sporting teams and same happening with the Girona which is currently having second season in La Liga and giving the best performance but sadly in last 6 games they have four defeats which are surely one of the worst part of their campaign in this season and things are looking uncertain about their stay into top four, but I have personal feeling they can bounce back and surely will stay in top four which they deserve after having impressive time at the top in 23 rounds.

They fail to score any goal in last four games from their seven which is also big decline, but their attack is still third best in La Liga because they have done good job and already have good mark which is their main weapon, but now their confidence is down, and they need to be regrouped themselves in this break which is surely going to help them for having good performance against Atlético Madrid and Barcelona in coming matches which are surely important for them if they want to keep their hopes alive for the top four at the end of this season.
