I can't believe how amazing La Masia actually is. I mean they had Pedri and Gavi before this so it was actually not a bad young squad, they had a few more and things looked to be great for them. But now? Now things are going pretty crazy actually. They have now Yamal as we all know and he is quite famous at this moment, but they have Balde as well who has been pretty decent but got injured unfortunately, Fermin Lopez seems to be doing alright as well and could be considered a future star if he is used a lot, and don't get me even started on Cubarsi, that kid played only a few games and the passes he is making from defense is elite level already.

I am so afraid that when Xavi leaves (and I think he shouldn't) then these kids may not get the attention they deserve. That's what happened to Barcelona last time, after Pep left, they didn't use La Masia much, and just bought players around Messi. This is why they are in debt, they should not do that, they should use these kids.

Barcelona's play really impressed me; Athletico Madrid also had excellent chances, but their finishing were bad. I first assumed that Athletico Madrid would make the match difficult for Barcelona, but I was quite disappointed by their performance, especially their defensemen.

Xavi Hernandez is a product of Barcelona's academy that popularly known as "La Masia" and that's why he's been able utilize the players from the youth team of the club and help them improve significantly. Many football greats came from the La Masia and I also expect many more youngsters to emerge from there. But unfortunately for Barcelona, Xavi Hernandez will leave the club at the end of the season and I don't know if they'll be able to get another manager that'll be as efficient as Xavi Hernandez in grooming the young players.
The performance of Barcelona yesterday at Atletico Madrid is a testament that the team's young stars are surely going to be football greats if they can continue with their current performance.  Xavi Hernandez have said that he's going to leave the club at the end of the season and even when further to say that even if the club wins the UEFA Champions League competition this season, he's still going to leave the club at the end of the season so I don't think he's ever gonna change his mind concerning that decision

It's very easy to spot a useless team sometimes but because we don't evaluate them properly that's why. Even someone that's not an expert yesterday will say that Atletico was going to finish Barcelona with their current form and how they were able to remove Inter from the Champions League only for them to fumble against Barcelona, 11 men were playing against Barcelona after the red card and yet they didn't have more shorts on target, this is just a definition of a finish team, believe me they will not cross over after Quarter final in the Champions League.


Barcelona are lucky to get their own share of 3 points and are now ahead of hyped Girona but the question now is how are ttey going to reach Real Madrid with all this kick off with their seriousness, Real Madrid don't look like they are going to back down right now. They are going to win this trophy without anything stopping them.

I think Barcelona's playing has really improved. Many fans blamed Xavi for not having a coaching strategy, but he is one of my top three favourite coaches this season because it is not easy to manage a team that does not have funds, and he is doing his best because he is currently second in the La Liga table and he still managed the team to the Champions League quarterfinals, which I'm hoping to see Barcelona in the Champions League final.

Barcelona were more clinical than Atlético Madrid in that game. Yes Atlético Madrid performance was below expectation I didn't expect the scoreline to be that big even though Barcelona have a better head to head recorded against Atlético Madrid. I was thinking the scoreline was going to be something like 1:2 or 1:1. At least Barcelona have moved to second place and I hope they can maintain that position till the end of the season. Realistically they might have missed out on the league and their champions league is their major hope of getting a trophy and I wish them well.

Everyone must think the same, we all expect an interesting match between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. But I see only Barcelona who played seriously because Xavi used a good lineup. Although some young players on the starting lineup, it looked effectively. Meanwhile Atletico Madrid tried to use a new lineup, some players on the lineup aren't the key players. Unfortunately, it didn't look effective, Atletico defense quite easy to destroy by Barcelona players. Even Lewandowski could play very well, he scored 1 goal and made 2 assists. Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix don't seem to want to return to their respective clubs next season even though they actually don't know what the future holds. Barcelona treats these two players very well and both players are able to give their best for their team now. Felix would definitely be happy if Barcelona wanted to make his contract permanent, as would Joao Cancelo.

In the last two matches between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, Joao Felix was able to score goals. He was relied on by Xavi and Felix repaid that trust with a goal for a team that neglected his quality as a player. As long as Diego Simeone is still the coach of Atletico Madrid, Joao Felix will probably not return to Atletico Madrid regardless of where he is loaned or sold permanently.

With this result, Atletico Madrid is out from the top 4. Athletic Club overtakes their position in the 4th place. If Atletico Madrid still can't play consistently, Athletic Club possibly stays in the 4th place because they seem playing more consistently toward the end of the season. Now, Atletico Madrid can't miss any points again.

Competition for the Champions League zone will continue until the end of the season. Athletic Bilbao is not a very consistent team in my opinion, so Atletico Madrid still has a chance to win Champions League tickets at the end of the season even though they currently have a 1 point gap behind Bilbao.

Joao Cancelo and Joao Felix don't seem to want to return to their respective clubs next season even though they actually don't know what the future holds. But he would not be allowed to leave without Barca paying a high fee for him considering his current improved form. I was happy he scored in yesterday's game and he also showed his respect for his former club by not celebrating.

I'm guessing that this is a meaningful match despite playing at home, OK against Inter Milan they were able to spend all their energy for that victory but they succeeded but when with Barcelona they look more limp but Atletico's hopes for a Champions League ticket are still wide open.

I wouldn't say Barcelona are bad because they're currently second in LaLiga and they're going to qualify and meet PSG, we do want to know how Barcelona do in the UCL maybe it'll be a bit different where they can also shift their focus there but they won't rule out LaLiga.

I don’t think Atletico Madrid didn’t pay focus in this match and that their attention was all in the champions league match. Just like Atletico Madrid, Barcelona are still in the Champions league and are looking to be in their best there when they’re playing their next game. Barcelona strategy in this match was better than that of the Atletico Madrid and they had no chance to depict and defend their goal post against them. It was just an unlucky day for Atletico Madrid and for Barcelona, they deserve accolades for pulling through that performance and ending the unbeaten run at home of Atletico Madrid. They will now both focus on their next La Liga matches as well as the Champions League matches in order to stand in a good position or get a qualification to the next round of the competition.

Barcelona are in good form so far and they perform with confidence against any team. Not only was Atletico Madrid defeated, Barcelona was also able to beat Napoli with a score of 3-1 previously in the last 16 of the Champions League.

I find Barcelona's defense is currently improving as they are starting to find a good tandem at center back. Pau Cubarsi and Araujo are the two center backs that Xavi has relied on in the last few matches, they are good at handling pressure and that has succeeded in preventing Barcelona from conceding many goals. It is proven that Barcelona only conceded 3 goals in their last 7 matches, including the two Champions League last 16 matches against Napoli.

The defeat was totally not caused by the red card. Have you watched the match? The red card was given by the referee in minute  90+2'. All the goals of Barcelona was in minute 38, 47, and 65. The red card was nothing to do with those 3 goals. TBH, I wanted to see the surprise form Atletico Madrid because they were playing at home. But in the fact, Barcelona wasn't dominating the match but they won it, they finally got 3 points. I don't understand what's happening with Atletico Madrid.

After this lose, I don't know how Atletico Madrid will end the season. They are no longer in the UCL zone, they are in the 5th place. I don't expect to see Atletico Madrid fails to finish this season in the UCL zone. I hope they will play better for the next matches and collect enough points to return to the top 4 again.

Are you still talking about the Atletico Vs Barcelona game? Because it seems like you're talking about a different game. Wasn't it in the 90th minute that Molina got sent off? The match was already over, Barcelona were already leading 3-0 by then so i don't understand how you mean when you say Barcelona won because of the red card Atletico got. Truly Atletico 3 goals to nil defeat to Barcelona was shocking and disappointing after how they prove many wrong to move on to quarter final in the Champions league after eliminating inter Milan on penalty shoot-out during the week but nothing really change in the weekend when they lost to Barcelona.

To be frank we all were expecting Barcelona to win since they had been in a good form lately while Atletico has been really inconsistent but at least thought the match would be challenging which wasn't quite so. Barcelona probably will finish second, Girona as not really been having a great game lately.

But for Atletico, of course Atletico still have to work well again if Atletico want to return to the top four, because Bilbao at this moment is also a very good team. Therefore, it is likely to be difficult for Atletico to return to the top four even though indeed, Bilbao and Atletico only have a gap of 1 point but yes, because this moment Atletico are experiencing performance instability, it will certainly be difficult for Atletico to overtake Bilbao.

You are wrong, friend, if you say Atletico Madrid's defeat was due to a red card. Just so you know, because of the red card that the Atletico Madrid players received at the end of the match, so before the Atletico Madrid players got the red card they were already behind 0-3 to Barcelona's victory.
