There is still hope for Athletico Madrid to finish in the top four of the La Liga table if they are consistent. Athletic Bilbao is leading Athletico Madrid by just one point in the La Liga table. Athletico Madrid just needs to win their matches in the league and hope for Athletic Bilbao to play a draw match for them to enter the fourth position in the La Liga table.

The opportunity to finish in the top four of the standings is still quite open for Atletico Madrid because currently they are only one point behind Atletic Club. There are still several matches left so Atletico Madrid can try to play more consistently so they can qualify for the Champions League next season. Actually, it's not a big difference in points and I'm sure Atletico will be able to get back to fourth place. But what worries me is the consistency of their game which doesn't look good lately. They lost to Cadiz 0-2 and I was really surprised by the defeat. If Atletico Madrid do not correct their mistakes then Athletic Bilbao could shift their position in the top four of the standings at the end of the season because of course Athletic Bilbao will not waste this opportunity.

It will takes a grace for Atletico Madrid to over take Bilbao without sweating and doing more work. Look at their features of April, it's a tight one for them because they are having next match against Villarreal and you and I can both agree that no way they are coming successfully with that team, and after that they are going to battle with Girona that is fighting to get to place where Real Madrid are staying, you can see that the more you look at Atletico, they don't look good to win matches.

Atletico were really good teams in the beginning of the season, they have won about 17 matches but having 8 loss is bad of them, they were maximizing winnings but couldn't minimize their losses, if it has been they loss 4 and draw that 8, they should be in better place than even Girona but it's what's it's. They better try and finish in top 4 otherwise they wouldn't be going to the Champions League next season and I don't think they have much to offer with Dortmund next month, dead on arrival match for Atletico.
