Girona with their win also secure their position in top four, now they are standing at the second position and have good gaps against clubs in the fourth and fifth positions. With 7 points more than the fourth and 9 points more than the fifth position, Girona looks to be safe if they only aim at a position in top four. They are given chance to end in top four with bad results from Atletico Madrid and Athletic Club. Top four if achieved, will be big success for Girona already and it was not what they hope for when this season started.
