It's true that even though Real Madrid have collected a lot of points so far and have widened the points gap with Barcelona, their meeting will still be a crucial meeting for both teams and they will try their best to show their good performance.
However, I believe that Real Madrid is superior to Barcelona in every aspect, Real Madrid's strength is more stable than Barcelona, so I think Madrid will win the match again against Barcelona in the second meeting this season.

The results of this meeting will actually not do really much to Real Madrid but will do a whole lot to Barcelona and that's not even arguable because Real Madrid is already at the top of the table with plenty of points and will be able to stay there even if they don't get to win the match because the point difference is such that a single game cannot stop them from getting to still maintain their position on the top of the table at this time.

Real Madrid is most definitely going to still do their very best to make sure they win this game because they still want to stay at the top with even more points ahead which is going to be an advantage for them a d keep them very relaxed and confident to play their champions league game that they have got ahead of them to play within the week but then Barcelona too also has got a champions league fixture to tackle ahead but this isn't going to mean that they are not going to be able to do their best with the la Liga even knowing that they are most likely to not win the trophy regardless of the results but then a loss will really have a whole lot to do on their mind set in their champions league game.

I have wished that Real Madrid still gets to win the game and still stay at the top of the table with much difference and Barcelona be able to maintain a good morale regardless of the outcome for their next champions league meeting they will be having ahead, i definitely don't think that Barcelona will be in the best form to be able to handle the champions league if they happen to loose against Madrid but a draw would do them a whole lot and that will actually be a fair one for them.

I think what's happening in La Liga today is no different to any other league when a small team surprises in one season, I think we've seen that happen this season in England when Aston Villa emerged as an unexpected force, as well as Leverkusen in the Bundesliga and Bologna in Serie A.  Where the team team was originally never favored to compete in the top 4 rankings so far, but in fact now they are actually able to make big teams lose their prestige, but unfortunately among the team teams I mentioned, only Leverkusen is able to perform consistently at this time in the Bundesliga, honestly I hope that another team will emerge that can damage the dominance of Barcelona and Madrid in La Liga next season.

Yes, that's why I always say that Girona is just a mediocre club that doesn't have the experience of competing for a full season with the big clubs in Laliga. So it is not surprising that after the end of the season Girona performed very poorly and did not play consistently because they did not have the experience and the right strategy to stay at the top of the points table.

Real Madrid will have enough time to train before facing Manchester City in the Champions League, and I expect Real Madrid to win the first leg so that they can win the second game at the Etihad.
