I think Girona has performed beyond our expectations this season. Barcelona without doubt have had a good season in the league despite the constant injury cases some of their best players suffered this season but I don't think there's any way they're going to win the Spanish La Liga title at the end of the season. Real Madrid without doubt have been the best Spanish team this season and are currently leading the Spanish La Liga standings with an 8-point gap after 30 games. Carlo Ancelotti's men I don't think would ever want to lose the league title after their impressive performances and results.
Barcelona can still win a major trophy this season if they really work hard for one and that'll be the UEFA Champions League title which I know will be very difficult for them but is still very much possible. Considering the great potentials of the young players in the the squad of Barcelona, there's hope for the future of the club but that's if the club management can get a good manager that'll continue to breed them after Xavi Hernandez leaves the club at the end of the season.

Your thoughts on the Barcelona team do seem quite realistic, especially if we look at it from the perspective of Barcelona's strength and condition this season, which this season also competed with Atletico Madrid and Girona to get second place in the standings as it is now.
