While this may look great. It really isn't a good logo. Logos need to be simple. Something that can easily be recalled. Go ahead and do a google image search for "logo" you will see that all large companies have really simple logos that are easy to recognize. Not 3d pictures that look good. |

If you would read up a bit you would see that this is a 3D adaptation of the clean and simple logo we already have. |

Well in terms of testing there is already a bare bones test client you can download and play with. I believe the distribution of coins and launch of project will be within 1 month, mid May basically but the Developer hasn't set it in stone. Most of the features mentioned in the first post will be implemented then but not colored coins and arbitrary transactions, messaging etc. which are hoped to be done within a month or so. That's my current understanding. When you compare it with similar systems like NXT its a VERY quick IMO. |

The IPO is closed but you're never to late. In a month or so I'll be more than willing to share some of my gargantuan wealth with you. For the right price of course. If the BTC is burning in your pockets and you feel a desperate urge to partake in an IPO I would advise you to be very very careful. There are at least 4 scams going on at the moment that want your money. NxtLite and NFD seem to be legit for the moment. But I wouldn't risk more than 50$ on either. |

The reason why the expected release is that late is because I want to make sure that the database and core functionality works very well. It is better to make sure everything is working well before release and be able to implement features fast then wasting a lot of time after release creating patches. I definetly prefer modern. Atleast for the first page. Other pages might a bit more classic like API documentation etc. |

I do I think know why developers release the source code, but I at the same time I still don't know why developers HAVE to release the code.
Why not release the code much later than the planned 1-3 months. If easy to clone we will have the same situation with NXT being overtaken by clones but it will be much worse. Why not wait a year or 6 months at least. Personally I would be happy if they never did.
One massive benefit to not releasing code for Crypto would we wouldn't have all these shitcoins. Imagine we only had Bitcoin, And NXT. It would be a far simpler world. Couldn't a few independent people check the code over for issues without releasing the source code?
