The return of ICOs

Guys, do you think that ICOs could make a come back? I do and here is why. Every year dozens of companies raise money in Silicon Valley for startups, many pre revenue. Also, with the economy injured from nCov19, it would make sense to allow for new economies. This would include letting new startups in Blockchain raise money, and imo if they are well vetted, and trusted by the community, they should be allowed to raise money. What do you think?

I don't think that ICO is now resuming its good background way back 2017, of course not!
Probably, IEO still prevail on it rather than ICO, but I think it depend on the bounty management
who will handle the project. Just like for example bounty detective this was one of the top legit
one in terms of bounty management.

unlike in 2017 and ICO is no longer usable now investors don't trust ICO because many projects that come out SCAM investors prefer IEO with third parties the possibility of scams is reduced especially in the midst of the co-19 pandemic so that their funds will be safe

I think it's a welcome development if ICO stage a come back,the present global economic hardship due to the global pandemic called Covid-19 has made it necessary for ICO to help fill the gap. Many new businesses will start with ICO development in other to raise starting capital from the surplus economic units through the blockchain technology.

During this time many new projects have emerged that have successfully penetrated the market and have a good community. Looks like ICO or the like is no longer needed because making a successful project is the way the project itself builds from beginning to large. Many projects are successful without doing ICO at this time.

most investors are now afraid of new ICOs projects because most of them suffer huge losses when the coin does not go as expected by the project, now investors are more interested in investing in coins with clear prospects.

I think ICO hype is gone in my opinion though, any project that is able to make money currently from ICO might be a good project to watch out for, lots of scam ICO back then in 2017 and I believe that lots of people had learned perhaps in the hard way, there are still some projects that conducted ICO two three years ago and they have not been listed on an exchange currently

The name ICO and IEO has nothing wrong and they can even create several other names, but it will not change anything because the people who are members of the team of these projects are people who have no idea what they are doing... there are cases where people have an idea of the business but have never done any business and as a result when they collect funds they start not delivering what they promised because they are unable to implement the things they promised

maybe it will be a new start for the economy, but it must have a new way, I mean ico is not as attractive as it used to be and has been replaced by ieo, then ieo is now normal.
so there must be a new idea to attract investors back.

All of the things that you have been saying very contradictive with the result that has already reached by some latest icons.

There are so many scam IEO too that were running on the scam exchange site. The new idea is not needed as long as the project can be trusted and that's enough.

you mean they dont have experienced yet ? but all of us started as unexperienced persons   . its okay to fail once but there is a chance to correct that mistake and you can try to not fail again next time   .  having an idea means having a passion too for that business   .

you can also say that all teams are the same because there are some that do thier job well  .  ico and ieo arent also the same because ieo is related to exchange but ico arent    .

to tell you honestly, very small to have it where it is before. ico's has had a lot of pretty upsetting status in the past, and i really think that the mosst effective way of making funds is through ieo

It's too hard for ICOs to regain investor trust. Because there have been so many ICO scams in the past, now people are staying away from this form. For new projects, I believe they will choose IEO to raise fund the project and that is the only way they can help them right now.

The best thing is for icos not to bother returning to the crypto space because it will be dead on arrival.
Crowdfunding has evolved so much and so high that icos cannot survive the space at all.

No, ICOs won't make any comeback so don't cross your fingers. Nowadays, it was the IEOs that popular and even some IEO still shady as hell, people rather put their money on IEO than ICO. That's a good reason why no ICO today. Why settle for something old and outdated, lot of risk like ICO when there are IEO?

One of the possible options of ICOs further development is equity crowdfunding under regulation of SEC.

The example is 1Worldonline -  a company, which earlier held a succsessful ICO. At the moment company's business and revenues are growing, it's utility tokens really could be used for getting the utility.

Now the company opened an opportunity to invest into it's equity under regulation of SEC. The investors are getting the tokens also.

ICO will not make any comeback yet consider if it's not dead yet. People must aware about some new icons that can raised a lot of money from the market and gave huge returns to the investors.
People are not yet losing their trust as long as it's a legit project.

I do not think that people have lost confidence. We just do not have good projects that could offer something to investors or to the world of cryptocurrencies. all new ICOs are just copies. Those projects that are really good they successfully conduct ICO

The best solution for the ICOs right now is to show their worth before going for the listing. But none of the projects want to do that. They want the investors to pour their hard earned money first. And the investors are obviously reluctant, after so many failed projects. There may be some investors who want to take the risk, but the vast majority is staying clear of ICOs now.

due to the large number of frauds in ICO, investors are also reluctant to invest in it because the average investor has been trapped in ICO which leads to fraud, so for now ICO is no longer the same as 2 years ago, although there is a good ICO, investors are very being careful to invest in it.
