The return of ICOs

I am not sure that ICO will return. if it returns, then the system must be better than IEO, and that doesn't make it ICO, but something new. Until now, ICO is a nest of scammers, so I am quite doubtful that ICO will return, except in special terms and circumstances.

True! Even ICO returns in special terms or circumstances. I would not risk my money again. Not only me but also a lot of people lost money in ICO. Even I did my research carefully, ICO scammers still won. I prefer to invest my time and money in bounty and trading.

ICO's are all messed up but that doesn't mean that the game is over, there will come a good project that will attempt to do try crowdfunding using the old method of crowdfunding, and there's a chance that they will succeed because they can prove that they are legit and they have the potential in the market, so even an ICO cannot stop  Good project from launching.

Well, I do not think they are coming back, they had their chances and messed it up. The simple truth is, it will be difficult for anyone to trust any ICO now, because the risk is not worth it. Therefore, any good project which thinks it has what it takes should go for IEO, it is as simple as that, this is because investors will have that feeling that they won't get scammed, the team ignoring them or the need to keep asking the team about listing. Moreover it's been a long time we hear anything about ICO, meaning IEO has taken over, thus should there even be any ICO, it will likely be overshadowed by IEO.

Investors don't trust ICOs, which is understandable because so many scam projects. It may come back but it probably has to add a word "trust" (TICO) , the development team needs to have a reputable organization that guarantees them.

Also, with the economy injured from nCov19, it would make sense to allow for new economies. This would include letting new startups in Blockchain raise money, and imo if they are well vetted, and trusted by the community, they should be allowed to raise money. What do you think?

When they are vetted then they may go for IEO instead of ICO on this community as exchanges do provides lots of convenient things as a single package whereas ICO here is known for lots of hassle filled. Simply we can understand this like IEO was derived by fixing all the problems usually a project do face. So, I am not expecting devs will be stepping down for some reasons. They must be already having lots of tasks to be addressed then obviously they will go for less hassles.

In deeper thinking, we can expect a project to be doing multiple IEOs in multiple exchange platforms at the same time. Yes, it will be possible in coming months. They just need more fee to cover those exchanges and I believe most exchanges will be agreeing for listing/doing IEOs on multiple exchanges at the same time. This might be helping devs to collect more funds because they will be covering customers of more than one exchange.

ICO is almost dead and IEO is not impressive as mostly crypto traders thought. I think there must be some alternative with full transparency and full refund if the project failed to get the goals.

ICO is dead, no investor care more about ICO anymore since IEO did everything better, it's just a shame that ICO make crypt world lose many investors due to too many scam projects back in 2018, we should move on, even if new project plan to use ICO it can take them more than 2years to achieve softcap

It's better if you check everything before you say what you don't know about. solana has been successful with its ico, elixxir too, 2key, finnexus and many more have raised their money through ico too and the investors of solana has been getting a huge return too. It's not yet dead.

I won't even dare trust any new type of ICO until many projects runs through the New ICO and become successful, let's be careful while hoping for new ICO, scammers can take advantage of this, it already happened in 2019 with one scam project called 'IMO'

I don't know about this. A lot of people have said that ICO will die and will be forgotten, but as for me I think they will stay but not really like being the main thing in the industry, because there are lots of scams attached to ICO in the past years and a lot of people are now afraid of participating in it (ICO). So, I am not going to say that it is coming back to what it used to be before.

As time goes on a lot of ideas are coming on how things should be done, just like we now have STO and IEO, though these ones are also not performing as expected, and it's part of the reason I said that ICOs will stay and these ones will stay too. But, as of now it seems ICOs must need more time to re-gain faith from this community. Still, when one or two projects successfully completes their projects then things may change completely.

Now that scammers have taken over every corner of crypto space it will be a bad idea to hope for ICO projects again, IEO is still a step forward here because exchanges stands between investors and the project team, top exchanges already did half of research for you because they have a reputation to keep, IEO is just way better

I strongly agree if IO is verified legally and correctly. because after this global pandemic, the economic situation is getting worse. and the worst possibility that might occur is an economic recession and all must be restarted from the beginning. from there, some people in this world will have difficulties and I think ico is a good solution for that.

ICO, or IEO, or whatever its name will come back. The title will change, but the concept will still the same. You should be wary and careful to invest in that such program because we don't know if the project can be trust or not. We should search for another info to find out the truth, so we don't disappoint. We dont know actually if ICO can have a come back, even though new projects are keep pouring on the market, we still cant deny the fact that most projects in the past have turned into scam and this is due to the ICO processes. In my opinion, I must say that IEO is much safer method when it comes to crowdfunding and even traders using this way to gain profits at least it lessen the burden and fear of investors that they will be scam of the new projects.

ICO started it all and produced  a lot of good quality or even in top rank coins today in he market, but sad to say that this method has been obsolete and actually this is where scam projects had started that dreaded by investors in crypto community. IEO has been working completely fines as we barely hear any accusations of scams, we hopefully see something or better way to raise a fund in order to keep the healthy and quality projects coming in.

This is because a lot of people especially the investors have lost interest in putting their money in any project because of lack of trust and also due to the fact that most projects are not always succeed in reaching their target. It's not dead yet. WTH was happening with so many people that called it's dead right now. It looks like you didn't aware of the latest ico that reached the hardcap just in a short time. You should take a look at some sites like icodrop or cryptorank to bring you the fact about the existence of ico right now.
