Cannot blame him for the hype, he did not hype himself and I always hate fans who show that kind of disrespect also. Gavi, Pedri, also similarly suffered hype but it is not their fault

He is really fragile and injuries stopped his progress a lot. And this season he doesn't perform well even when he is healthy. Anyway, he is still young, too early to write him off and I hope that he won't end like Bojan.

I really worry about the other youngsters too, they are playing at a rate that makes their bodies age and break faster than it should be. I hope they pass through to mid 20s without too much ill effects but the modern game is really bad at taking care of youngsters whose bodies are still developing.

I dont see so much about the round ahead, but with my poor performance here i think im gonna do the picks at last moment i need to focus in the other pools were i have some chance.

I really hate when media or fans starting to hype young players and call them new Messi or Ronaldo. Usually it doesn't end well. And I didn't liked when such thing started with Ansu. One of the major challenges of prospective rising stars is the enormous hype that does come from the media. Just like you mentioned Bojan Krkic whose electrifying and scintillating skills while developing made the media to tag him the next Messi but didn't later make a big name in football history, we have seen so many young stars who allow the media hype get into their head and as a result flops at the end of the day. While some others do ignore the unnecessary media hypes and works hard to develop themselves and as result goes on to become football greats. Ansu Fati  still has a long career before him and he must ignore the media hypes when he finally starts playing again

I put Valladolid for 11.70 win at Sportsbet, I know I never won a big underdog bet yet but I feel like my luck with multibet should not be pushed too much, I was so much wanting to bet handicap on Barca but they did the most unexpected victory. I mean, Elche is Elche but Barca to score more than 1 goal is even more unexpected

I didn't responded to your post until end of round to not jinx . But yeah, it seems that this week I will share yellow cap with @hahay and @icopress. Not bad round for me, but Valencia had to ruin it for me. I made a bet on them, so Free Bet for yellow cap will cover my loses. Referee awarded cheap penalty which saved Valencia from loss, but draw at home with Rayo doesn't helps them to run away from relegation zone.
We have Copa Del Rey semifinals this week - Athletic - Osasuna tomorrow and El Clasico at Camp Nou on Wednesday. I just remind that in first leg Barca achieved a bit strange 0:1 win, which was a bit against game logic.

Osasuna has very good odds and I am tempted to put a small amount on them making a multibet with Barca, in normal times I feel like I should not jinx my team's lead with a bet like this but I feel like this is the time to take advantage of my team who seems to find ways to win without playing well.

expected a win last night, but as you pointed out, we need a penalty to take a point, early goal by Rayo changed the match

nevertheless, it is better to get point from losing during the match, than do get a point after leading during the match, and that was the case mainly in first part of the season

I was just thinking the same, Barca can't keep winning 1:0 against Real for sure. Real is too good team to be kept at bay that long. Last game in the cup Real probability deserved to score but didn't, that kind of things usually have a way to work themselves out.

I would call this result a return to normality. This year, Barcelona are phenomenal in beating outsiders with amazing efficiency (and elements of luck as the score is very often minimal) but at the same time losing to serious opponents devastatingly. As soon as Benzema slightly returned to good form, the defense of Barcelona could not oppose him (and of course Vinnie's great merit).
By the way, did anyone notice Lewandowski on the field? I'm too lazy to count now but it looks like Benzema has played fewer games than he has already scored more goals.

As Barca fan I have to agree. Beating opponents 1:0 all season long is mix of overperforming and luck. When of concede just 9 goals in 2/3 of La Liga season and then in one game you let opponents to score 4 is really back to reality. Even about first leg - we didn't deserved to win it. Today 1st half was still somewhat OK, but after conceding goals in 2nd half Barca looked completely devastated and let Real to dominate. Not looking for excuses, but absence of injured players like de Jong, Pedri and Dembele affects Barca a lot.
Barca won few big games, like last El Clasico in La Liga or Supercopa final, but today and against MU we had no chances. It's good that at least we already have La Liga in our hands.

The final with Osasuna looks like the presentation of the Cup to Real, only with the formal part for an hour and a half - the match 
I don't think that Real will miss this title even if they are busy in other tournaments.

As for Benzema, apparently he returned to good shape and now the statistics of the season for him are becoming familiar: 25 goals in 31 games. Lewandowski has 27 in 34 games, but compared to his time at Bayern, Lewandowski is clearly on the decline.

But comparing by the team he has around him now to the ones that he had around him at Barcelona, I would say he's not in any form of  decline and probably even more better now, he had it quite easy at Bayern and don't you thin he would have had pretty more easier for him if he was playing under Messi-Neymar and Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets era ?

Last season was the only season since I can remember that Barcelona didn't have a player among the top goal scorers in the league, Depay was Barcelona's top scorer last season he had 12 goals and was ranked 10th in the league.
