Fabio Grosso will do his debut match today against Le Havre and this is very interesting to know whether he can able to bringing Lyon to ended their poor results or Le Havre will be the winner of this match and as promotion team Le Havre starting the league with good performance and from 4 matches they only suffering 1 lose so i have to says this is good progress from them and today they will attempts to stole point at Lyon home ground

This time Lyon will host Le Havre's in a League 1 matchs. Lyon should appear as serious and as maximum as possible to win the match against Le Havre in order to avoid the relegation zone, but it will be a tough task for Fabio Grosso's for the first time which will make Lyon rise from the bottom of the standing.

If this matchs Lyon is not able to perform optimally even though they have changed coaches, I think the problems here is not the coach but the players who cannot appear impressive and competitive.

By the way Luis Enrique even made a statement after the match like he was really satisfied with the team performance there. This must really be a joke.    Because how can you be satisfied with that defensive performance for example? Nice could have even beaten you by a gap of a few goals. But we really have to fully appreciate goalkeeper Metz because he saved 10 times, that is a fantastic number for a goalkeeper. This result leaves Metz in 6th position with 8 points and Lens looks like they will be stuck at the bottom of the standings if they continue to get results like this.

They also had 75% ball possession and 9:1 corners. I know that what counts is the final result, but I still think that this is a performance Lens doesn't have to be mad about. They have lost a game in which they were the overwhelming team and we have seen other teams experiencing the same. The only point that mattered this game was their very bad efficiency and this is something they can improve on quickly.

In the French league we have started with surprise results,funny how both Lens and Paris lost their game at their home field against what I would call weaker opponents.Most likely these two teams underestimated their opponents and are now giving hope to Monaco and Marseille which play today and should definitely try to maximize out of those results and win their respective games with Marseille playing at home which I think should have an easier job than Monaco.

The Ligue 1 is becoming more and more open this actual season while several other seasons before was dominated by Paris and this is a really good thing for such league.

Lorient - Monaco

Monaco play their fifth match against Lorient. The match is an away match of Monaco. The Monaco team is in excellent form. They are consistently performing well. Out of 4 matches they have won 3 and drawn 1. The top spot in the points table is now occupied by Monaco.
Monaco conceded a goal just 2 minutes into the match. It was an unexpected goal for Monaco. However, Monaco's players were too late to equalize the match. Golovin's goal in the 17th minute equalized Monaco. They are playing very well. And maybe Monaco will be able to get three points in today's match as well.

If they win today's match, Monaco will be at the top of the table with 13 points. Monaco will be 5 points ahead of PSG and 4 points ahead of Nice.

PSG's humiliation by Nice was very surprising, this result was their first defeat at the start of the season. Mbappe has a heavy burden to bear for PSG after the departure of Messi and Neymar. PSG's performance will not improve if they do not change their tactics in such matches. In Ligue 1 you have to play fast and attack a lot.

The biggest thing is that the PSG team has no balance. The team does not notice any great understanding among the players. This creates a great problem with the team's attack build-up. I think PSG will have bigger problems ahead.

Lorient hosted Monaco at home.We can say that it was an enjoyable match.Monaco is a team in form, but Lorient away was not easy.We can say that these 2 teams had a good performance last year.Lorient scored an early goal in the second minute and took the lead, but Monaco managed to find the equalizing goal after 15 minutes. In the second half, Monaco increased the pressure with the changes and scored 2 minutes after the changes and went 2-1 ahead.But they couldn't protect this score and the match ended in a 2-2 draw with Lorient's goal in the last minutes.Monaco was able to draw from this away game despite being the better team.For Lorient, I think we can say that this draw could be a good result.

Yes it is. Lens performed so garbage. Im not even feeling surprised to see this club keeps suffering the lose in league 1. Lens is finished. The gap to the first position is very big. The club needs a miracle to enter into the midtable.
I think that if lens has been hopeless this season. I don't even know if this club will keep performing like this till the middle of season. Lens may be relegated at the end of season.
The management needs to do something to save this club from being relegated.

Metz was not performing so solid against lens but lens surprisingly unable to maximizing any chances that happened to the club. The goal keeper of metz performed so crazily against lens.
Lens is not just unlucky but this club is the worst club in league 1 right now.

Right but all these weird results happen more often than we think because nobody thought that Monaco would give away their win against Lorient, but guess what happened. They scored in the last minute of the game in extra time. Soccer is full of surprise all the time and it keeps the field in the table close to each other. There is no team that could set itself apart and Monaco had the chance to work out a slight advantage for them, but yes they let it slip through their hands in the very last second of the game. The goal was scored in the 98th minute of the game.

 I'm not suprised at his performance this season because he's a proven top class player and currently the best in his team, and so far the club have been relying on him for goals which I think is not a bad idea because he's setting more records by scoring in almost all the matches so far and helping the team be successful but I feel they're putting more pressure on him and shouldn't rely on only Mbappe for goals they still got other top quality players in the team and they needs to start finding the net also because it might affect them if Mbappe sustains an injury and is sidelined from a match.
 
 Well apart from that I think Mbappe is a wonderful player and has achieved alot for his age but he won't get a better chance of achieving that which he's after currently due to his current team and it would had been easier if he was in a team that's got a good winning mentality in the Champions League like Realmadrid to help him stand a chance of winning the Ballon D'or in the next 2-3 years time, however Mbappe and Jude Bellingham at Realmadrid this season would had been very Amazing to watch.

In my own opinion, I think Kylian Mbappe is the best player of his age at the moment and he's yet to be have a Balon D'or award to his name because of the club he's currently playing. The way he runs at defenders and dribbles past them like they aren't existing is very rare to find among players of his age at the moment. He is clearly better than any forward footballer in the world at moment apart from Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Paris Saint Germaine lost their their French Ligue 1 game against Nice on Friday but Kylian Mbappe still bailed himself with two goals in that game. No wonder Real Madrid president Fiorentino Perez desperately wants to bring the France national team captain to Real Madrid next summer

But both are definitely up there as the two most important and probably best young players right now. It won't be very wrong to expect them to be the replacement for Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Another thing is, I don't think personal performance actually means anything if the team is not winning. Haaland with Manchester City has been able to win a lot of things so far. The same cannot be said with Mbappé with PSG.

You're right Haaland has proved himself in several leagues apart from the EPL before joining City whereas Mbappè's best performance is at his country France both club side and national team but Halaand has proved his a very good finisher in four different leagues and i believe if he had quality players to back him up like Mbappe's got at France their country would've been one of the strongest so far and his performance for country side would be outstanding.
 
 Okay let's come down to their performances last season, Mbappé scored about 7 goals in the Champions league with no assist, 29 goals with 5 assists in the Ligue 1, and 5 goals in the French cup competition making it about 41 goals with only 5 assist in all competitions last season whereas Haaland stats is more impressive in the Champions league he got about 12 goals, 36 goals in the EPL with 8 assist and 1 in the EFl cup making it about 49 goals with 8 assists in all competitions even won the treble and player of the year in both Champions League and EPL,  so who woukd you say is more better? The difference is clear.

Monaco failed to widen the gap after only drawing 2-2 against Lorient. This is an away match for Monaco, however they should win this match if they want to continue to widen the gap from their competitors. I think this result is not too bad because in the last 5 matches Monaco has never lost at all. On the other hand, Lorient is quite slumped in 12th position after winning 3 draws and 1 defeat in the last 5 matches. Apart from all that, I think Monaco must improve their consistency again because in the next match they will face Nice, who previously managed to beat PSG.

Indeed, fantastic statistics for Lens, but unfortunately they are not lucky like Metz. On the Metz side, they will be more confident against another big team because they can beat Lens although they are playing away. With that victory it seems like will improve their mentality, so maybe end of this season Metz can sit in a better position.
Lyon actually same as Lens, the performance of both teams this season is not that great. Maybe we can see another surprise in match Lyon vs Le Havre but I hope luck is on Lyon side.

Haaland is a good striker, but you can't compare him to mbappe. In my opinion mbappe is more talented than Haaland because Haaland is just a finisher who can't work with the ball and can't great a chance for himself, whereas mbappe is a hard player who works with the ball and has a great chance to score PSG did not go fa in the champions league last season, finishing in the top 16 in the competition, without comparisons they performed very poorly last season in the champions league, I don't know when PSG can win the champions league, if mbappe leaves psg now and goes to another club like Real Madrid or another club you will win the champions league.and you will know who is a great player Haaland or mbappe.

Therefore, I believe the competition this season will be more interesting, because the leading teams like PSG can no longer be expected to defend the title.

What a bad season for Lens. 5 Disappointing matches compared to the previous season. The match against Metz should be a must and must win. Lens really dominated in the first half and Metz only had 1 shot and it was a shot on target which resulted in a goal in the first half.

This is just a really bad setback for lens and the club should be panicking. It feels like lens is a hopeless team but there is still enough time for the club to take a urgent step as soon as possible to save the club from battling in the relegation zone.

Lens has been performing so consistent last season but it's declining so hard and i never though if lens will suffer this horrible performance this season. It seemed to me if i was seeing a good club who plunged so hard to the bottom.
It's really disappointing to see the result between lens vs metz. I never thought metz would be able to win the game against lens even with small margin like that.

I, who watched the match, was very confident that in the second half Lens could at least equalize, but unfortunately Metz was really good in defense.

Lens losses its all of experiences from last season. The club has turned to be inexperienced club this season. Lens feels so confuse in attacking metz and scoring a goal. I think that the management just got slapped back to the reality.
Lens was only getting 1 point from 5 matches played, which is hurting my eyes to watch it.
