You predicted it correctly.    Rennes really got a solid 3-1 win against Metz away. I also found the odds interesting and it really was indicating something like "Don't bet on Metz".    Rennes already finished them in the first half by bringing the score to 2-0. The red card which was shown in the 51st minute to Doku made me thinking whether Metz could make a comeback but it went the other way around. I must admit that Rennes really deserved to be the winner here.

I guess any team that is even far from the title race basically doesn't want to lose points and yes, even though their points are the same but their stats are different about lose, win and draw. Besides that, the condition of the main players' readiness to be a differentiating factor in the field, so even though their points are the same I don't think it is a guarantee that the match will end in a draw. But yes, whatever the result in the match can happen but this time PSG remain the favorites and it is proven, PSG can lead 0-2 in the first 32 minutes.

It was a really entertaining game to watch as it produced a lot of goals and both teams played in attack.Lyon just paid the price when attacking Paris,Paris can hit you hard just like happened yesterday when you play this way.The good thing is three top teams are only 3 points away from each other so a good Ligue 1 this year.

Lille is the best team in Ligue 1, if PSG can win against them then I believe they will be able to do well against Bayern Munich on 8 April. Both matches are very important for PSG. PSG can take the top position in Ligue 1 if they can beat Lille. On the other hand, to win the Champions League, they must win against Bayern Munich.

I agree with you, you're totally right, the match against Lille few days before facing Bayern Munich Wednesday 7th April will be an excellent test match and a very good indicator of the likeliness of a victory against Bayern to happen. I don't know if Mauricio Pochettino will field the same players for the 2 matches though.

I don’t think it would be bad if Pochettino formed a squad of the same players in two matches. Yes, there is some risk of injury. But to face a strong team like Bayern Munich, I think the match against Lille will be the best warm-up match. Pochettino must understand better than us, let's see what he decides.

If Pochettino is rational he should avoid to field important players likely to get injured or exhausted. The match against LOSC will take place Saturday 3th April and the match against Bayern Munich 4 days later Wednesday 7, if one player is injured or too much exhausted during the first match he won't be able to perform well against Bayern which is one of the best team in Europe and even the world.
