PSG seems to be all about Mbappe and Messi. If these two don't show up, that team is down. Other than that why PSG's defense has conceded so many goals this season. Couldn't even keep a clean sheet. This is what I've been saying about PSG since.  A team as rich as they are should be able to get a decent squad and a decent coach. They have a very average midfield and an average defense. A good team is not all about a good first eleven, It involves a good first and second eleven. All that is good in this PSG squad is the attack and an attack is only as good as the midfield and defense. PSG concede so many goals and the midfield is not creative enough and they cant control games. I really don't know how that team is run. They need to be serious about the kind of players they recruit if they want to be a respected team in Europe and they cant do this without a very good and technical coach. Personally, I feel Christophe Galtier is not leaving up to the standard because his team do not play beautifully. They struggle too much even in matches they should be winning easily.

Monaco had to accept defeat at home against Reims in today's match with a narrow score of 0-1. Statistically the two teams actually played a draw, but Reims took the lead through a goal scored by Balogun in the 51st minute and closed the victory for Reims until the game was over. With this result Monaco must remain in 4th place in the standings and only 3 points away from Lens.

It was really a hard one to swallow. Monaco at home wasn't impressive. The left the whole dominance to Reims, both the possession and attempts. If not for the drop down in their performance, they would be ahead of Lenz in the top 3 standing. I wouldn't believe Monaco will find it hard to locate the back of the net even in their home, after a awful results in their last 4 matches. Philipe Clement needs to do something quick else Rennes will take him off hard.

Monaco wasted too many opportunities because when you look at the statistics there are lots of opportunities but only 3 are on target for them. It's not that great actually but on the other hand Reims is also very decent. Even though in this match they were the visitors, they continued to press and made it difficult for Monaco. With this result a good 3 points for Reims and they are back in the top 8 now.

Brest actually didn't have so many chances to score but they were good at benefiting from them. One weakness in PSG defense caused them to concede a goal. But PSG were still effective in scoring goals as they should be. Soler's goal was really impressive. His shot was so effective that the goalkeeper couldn't even react to that. Messi's assist to Mbappe in the last moments was also lovely to watch. It could have been a slight offside if Mbappe was one step ahead.

PSG have only the Ligue 1 to focus on from now on. Therefore I expect them to fully concentrate and secure their title.

But that's not really surprising. Don't most of the teams depend on their superstars at least to a certain degree? You could mention a lot of teams and then take away their two best players, who are they still? I can't call it anything but bad luck to not win after 2-0 up until 88 minutes. However, Strasbourg's performance in this match was really good. And we should appreciate it. Strasbourg had a total of 24 shots in this match and 9 of them were on target. Marseille on the other hand had only 7 shots and 4 were on target. So I am happy that this match was a draw. Strasbourg players worked hard in this match.

playing with 10 players was really hard for marseille, and to be honest the 2 goals made by aholou were really extraordinary goals, only 1 minute later. the point difference between Marseille and Lens is currently quite thin and the opportunity for Lens to shift the position of Marseille will be quite easy.

Actually I don't believe in Strasbourg quick goals, to be honest previously I saw Marseille advantage with a score of 2-0 then I stopped watching because they should have won that game, but when I saw this game again the score had changed. This is clearly Marseille weakness because they are playing with 10 players, but at least they didn't lose because this game at the last minute really excited.

This is the problem PSG has been having even before now, that is why it was easy for Bayern Munich to take advantage. PSG has good players, and if the players are not exhibiting good performance then the fault is from the coach,  he needs to change his method of formation.

Even so, PSG's squad has plenty of weaknesses visible. I would say this is due to the coach's inexperience. Coach Galtier is not very experienced. At least I think so. He has got enough time to stabilize the team. Yet he failed. And so far he has not found a stable formation for the PSG team. If the coach of PSG was experienced then we would have got better gameplay from this team. If the PSG management wants to spend more money next season to sign players, the first thing they should do is hire an experienced coach.

In football crazy things like that happens all the time, just last year City looked like they were about to win and go to finals, and then after 88th minute Real scored twice and took it to overtime and won it there. On the other hand we had France at world cup finals, even though they lost in the end, for 80 minutes they were trailing 2-0 behind and in one minute they scored twice in a row to take it to extra time as well, it ended sadly for them of course but still shows that in world of football a few minutes is all you need to score.

Obviously that doesn't happen to most teams, if it is 2-0 at 88th minute, the likely result is 2-0 and not a draw, but it is not impossible to get a draw.

They have very experienced players like Sergio Ramos for example, but if only 1 player it won't be enough because the defense needs players who really have very good chemistry. The problem they are currently facing is not only in defense but in midfield as well. I will compare with Manchester United for example, when Casemiro arrived, Manchester United's midfield could be more balanced in defense or attack.

It looks like the red card that Leonardo Balerdi got really made bad luck for Marseille, because this match should have been won by Marseille. He worked as a video analyst and an assistant manager so many times before reaching this level. We have seen him at teams like Sint-Truiden, Lierse, Beerschot and Standard Liege before. He worked as an assistant manager at Reims before this job too. And now we are seeing him as a manager who is doing an amazing work.

Reims haven't lost a single game in the league for 17 weeks. Thanks to this young manager who is only 30 years old, Reims can even qualify for a tournament at the end of the season.

If you look at PSG's defense it's a complete mess, first I think that the players are not up to standard but when I think about it I start to think that they are disorganized and I think that also goes down to the manager who is like you said. PSG's defense isn't the best but it's far from bad if the Manager can't manage it properly. With proof PSG had to be eliminated in the UCL and in Ligue 1 conceded a lot.

One of the most important reasons for their failure is that they turn their backs on players from their youth setup. While the goalkeeper from their own team takes Milan to the quarter finals, they cannot pass the last 16 with the goalkeeper from Milan's youth setup. If they had benefited from Coman and Nkunku instead of transferring neymar, they would have bought a top class midfielder and a top class defender with 222 million euros. They could only played kimpembe from their youth setup. Of course, I think PSG was the best choice for Messi because there was no other club that could take him at that time, there was Manchester City, but that door was closed for Messi after the grealish. I think Paris should have a more accurate transfer policy from now on, otherwise they will just pass by the final of the champions league.
