It's not because their opponents become stronger but because PSG are becoming weaker and they will need time or some seasons to rebuild their team and be stronger, dominating the league again like in the last 10 years.

PSG is the strongest team in France. Success was expected even when they had a great team, and international success is still expected from them. This success is also determined by UCL. Since so much money was spent, the lack of success in return depressed both the fans and the management. However, with this year, the pressure on the team has decreased a little. Expectations are falling. As expectations decrease, the stress on players decreases. Perhaps this will be the main key that will bring success to PSG.

I agree with you, even though Nice is currently in first place in the points table, it doesn't mean that Nice is PSG's rival because it's too early to say that the club is PSG's rival, while Nice's current ranking is only temporary and it's like luck.
When compared with Monaco, it is more appropriate to be called PSG's rival because this is one of the big clubs with a fairly stable performance at the moment and I think Nice will only be in first place for a while and if PSG starts everything well they will soon be in first place. won and Monaco could also be ranked second in the points table.

IMO, even though the odds on PSG are only @1.25, it does not matter to me rather than having to choose another option because is very risky seeing that PSG performance is still unstable and I will make multi bets on several matches and I will enter PSG into my betting slip. This game against Montpellier should actually be a win for PSG although interestingly PSG is weaker at home than they are in away games, but the data is still thin as the season is young, but Montpellier is also doing relatively well away from home. Montpellier was nothing for PSG. By examining the historical head-to-head matches between PSG and Montpellier, it becomes evident that PSG has maintained a winning streak against Montpellier. I think that picking over 3 or even 4 was actually make sense. In as much as it has been their biggest dream to win the UCL, I don't think this season is that right time for them. PSG is yet to be formidable against some big teams who are also present in the UCL, no doubts they have got good quality players currently but not the form

Their play against Newcastle United begs the question of how well they could perform against more formidable opponents like Manchester City or Bayern Munich. Although I agree that the current form is unimpressive, there appears to be more to it. Their teamwork and tactical strategy appear to be the core of the problem. Even though I can appreciate the need for quick results, I think this season's emphasis should maybe be on creating a cohesive team instead.
