PSG 2 - 1 Saint Etienne (I honestly expected it to be an easy win for PSG, but PSG won this game thanks to a penalty)

Toulouse 1 - 2 Strasbourg (Strasbourg have been improving a lot in recent games and with this win they have now won 3 consecutive games)

Montpellier 1 - 3 Angers (Montpellier's situation is getting worse and in this game they were very unlucky, they got 2 red cards, I think they will be relegated)

Le Havre AC 1 - 2 Lens (When Le Havre AC scored an early goal, I thought they could get out of this game with at least a draw, but unfortunately they lost and their situation is getting worse with each round)

Today against Saint Etienne we thought we would see an easy victory for PSG. And at the end of the first half PSG is leading 2-0. And in the first half we saw the dominance of PSG players. Saint Etienne is a weak team. And this team is now in the relegation zone. There was no possibility of PSG losing points against such a team. Usually PSG players are able to play well against weak teams.

We see PSG team playing completely attacking tactics this season. However, due to the lack of experienced players in PSG squad, PSG team often faces big problems to score goals. But since Etienne's defense is weak. So PSG does not face much problem to score two goals in the first half.

2:1 it ended in the favour of Paris Saint Germaine with Ousmane Dembele scoring his side's two goals of the match. I don't think there's anyway Saint Etienne will be playing away at the home of the French champions  and still manage to get a result in that game so there wasn't anything surprising about the result for me. I was even expecting Paris Saint Germaine to record more goals than they managed and even keep a clean sheet but at the end, it ended in a narrow win for them. In a season where Paris Saint Germaine aren't performing greatly, they're still leading the league table and that I don't think is a good advertisement of the French league

^ With the draw that Monaco got and Marseille's victory against Rennes which was not easy at all, there is currently a 5-point gap between Marseille and Monaco. Of course, these results make Marseille at least in a position that is safe enough to stay in second place. Although Marseille managed to maintain its consistency, there was still no chance for Marseille to compete for the trophy with PSG.

Because of course, PSG will also get better results, because in a few minutes or a few hours PSG will play at home against St Etienne who are currently in the relegation zone and St Etienne are also a promotion team this season. Thus, it will be certain that PSG will also succeed  in getting three points in this match, and maybe PSG will also win with a big score, at least three goals are good enough.

Olympique Marseille were able to secure all three points over Rennes in a tightly contested match. This crucial win will not only boosts their morale but also keep them firmly in contention for the Ligue title this season as they apply pressure on PSG. On the other hand PSG recent win over St-Etienne has further solidified their position at the top of the league table. With the end of  season approaching, every point gained or dropped could prove  decisive. Marseille will need to maintain their winning momentum particularly against mid table and lower ranked teams while hoping PSG falters in some key fixtures.

As predicted before that Paris Saint Germain will be able to win quite easily in this match. They can play comfortably and can even score goals early in the match. Although the score ended with a narrow score, it doesn't matter because the most important thing is that they can get 3 points from this match. They are still unstoppable in Ligue 1, yes they are very difficult to beat. 7 points is quite a distance considering Paris Saint Germain is leading. So to say who will be the champion this season, I think we already know that, even every season we can predict.

Saint Etienne did better if I want to even give commendations to any of the teams in this game, they had the champions PSG playing from home and yet they were able to get a goal and held PSG to not been able to score beyond two goals. Although PsG hasn't been of great performance this season,  they shouldn't struggle winning a team like this, I expected a three goal margin at least from them but it turns out they won and got three points but not with an impressive performance.

It is even a huge surprise that the final score of the PSG - Saint-Étienne game was like that.    PSG could have scored at least a few more goals. The xG for them was like 4.07 as well. Anyways, they just move on with another win. 

By the way I really like PSG's player quality in defense and midfield. They have solid talented players there and they are doing a really good job for their young ages as well. The only area I see weak is their attacking line. I mean Dembele is okay. But the rest isn't much so.    Barcola started the season amazingly but for a while he performs badly. They don't have a reliable striker either. In addition to adding Kvara to the squad, they should go for a new CF too. Maybe even reuniting Kvara - Osimhen?

In some of the matches you mentioned, I only think about the results that Montpellier got. Montpellier should have been able to get a very good chance against a promoted team that has just competed in league 1 this season and while Montpellier is a team that has been in league 1 longer but ended up being humiliated at home.
Just look at how bad the performance was that lost 2 players who got red cards and gave a big chance to Angers.
It seems that Montpellier this season will continue to struggle and even be unable to get out of the relegation zone.

The additional 3 points make PSG more comfortable in leading the standings, Marseille and AS Monaco seem to be overwhelmed to reduce the gap that has been created. For sure but Angers is not a strong team they are 13th of the championship while Montpellier is 18th, it is the 6th match in a row they are unable to win unfortunately, the last victory was back at the beginning of november against Brest, and it was only their 2nd victory of the season sadly.
I don't think they've been unlucky actually as Slow death is saying above, because Kouyaté and Jordan Ferri only got their red card at the 84th and 85th minute. Angers took the lead in the 30th minute of the match and won the first half, they've been able to score their 2nd goal before the 2 players sent off. In fact Montpellier just score its only goal thanks to a penalty from Savanier.

Manchester United doesn't recognize a gem when they're in possession of one. They lost Mason Greenwood because of a scandal that causes general public outrage. Although investigation was carried out and the Englishman did served his term for been pledged guilty. Mason Greenwood almost lost everything and his football career was nearby to liquidity but revived after loan spell to Getafe. It was never consider an easy run for Greenwood, he passed through all these phases and still upright and standing. Mason Greenwood is such a blessing for Olympic Marseille following his terrific performance for the club. He's this type of player that always loves scoring goals and had a feeling of triumph for how far he's gone in football. Making incredible accomplishments and hitting harder than his older version.

Reviewing today's scores with comparison to Manchester United strikers and Mason Greenwood, he's 10 times better than them because he has this confidence with the ball, good footing and accuracy when he thrive for goals. Dembele is currently very extraordinary, his performance looks increasingly better now because from the last 5 matches he has created 6 goals and that is very fantastic for his current development and Dembele has currently collected 10 goals in the Domestic league and of course that is a compliment to him and hopefully Dembele does not fall easily in the game so as not to get injured again because currently PSG fans have high hopes for him but when compared to Mbappe it is clearly not balanced because what Mbappe did with PSG was extraordinary but I have not seen that Dembele is really the figure wanted to replace Mbappe.
 Dembele is good but overall he is not as impressive as Mbappe and is still far from what is compared because Mbappe's performance at PSG is extraordinary, and Dembele has not done half of what Mbappe did at PSG and I hope Dembele can be sharper in all aspects, both skills and goal-scoring instincts and if he can do that then next season there might be a comparison between him and Mbappe.
