PSG really won convincingly today, I was really impressed with their form in the past two Champions League games, that's against Manchester City last week and against Stuttgart today. They played so well and today was another masterpiece of play from them. It got me wondering where this team was all these while in the previous games they played in the Champions League this season! The was they dismantled both City and Stuttgart is something to talk about and applaud them for their incredible performance in the this past two matches.

PSG aggressive approach Luis Enrique experience and Dembélé masterclass hat-trick give huge success and spot into next round playoffs it is amazing game with all was set for them to steal the game against Stuttgart in Germany. Now PSG attack have good depth with scoring of 11 goals in last 3 games give impressive success to them while their defense is also now balanced which allowing attack to play fearless game and took advantage of this coordination arrival of Kvaratskhelia is also going to strength their squad and it looks like their performance could be surprising in coming matches.

Now all eyes on next round draw which is going to happen on Friday with PSG is having good challenge as they are going to visit Brest on 1st February for Ligue 1 game while host club is also now looking for better results as they are having good performance in last few matches.

OGC Nice that are currently in the 4th position of the French league didn't make it to the playoffs at least of the Europa League after 8 games played in the competition so far, they have been eliminated from the competition this season. I still don't understand how they managed to consecutively have bad runs of form that they managed 3 draws 5 loses and zero win in the Europa league, the when it's the league competition, they are in 4th plac ;)e. Is it that they prefer the domestic league competition than the European one? Or they just couldn't cope with other teams outside France? I'm really surprised at this.

If Marseille have been up to speed this season compared to last season like you said then I expected more from them because the know what they are up against, getting the Ligue 1 trophy from PSG should be their number 1 priority and if necessary they should dump all other competitions and focus on the league title that's if the work load would be much for them, no much mistakes should be entertained and they should be very close to PSG because these guys have various competition to attend to. Luis Enrique is happy to qualify to the playoff of the round of sixteen and he will be happy to make it to the knockout stage because it will help him to remain to retain his job because this early disqualification from the Champions League might lead him to get sacked because PSG signed him because of his Champions League experience he have while coaching Barcelona.

I am impressed with PSG’s performance lately in the Champions because I never expected PSG to defeat Manchester City, and that win against City gave them the chance to make it to the playoffs which is a great move from the team in their Champions League dream.

PSG knew what was at stake, so they had the chance to remain in the Champions League fight and they took that chance and escaped through to the stage that they’re now. The club continues to attract talented players and remains a force to be reckoned with. I don't considered PSG to be one of the biggest clubs in the world, they're consistent winners of the french league but haven't achieved anything outside of french football to be considered the best in the world. They're not aslo playing to the best of my knowledge to convince me that they can win the champions league this season. I think they're not up to the standards of the champions league. If they mightn't finish in the top four then maybe they will be eligible for the European league and then they can win it to have a European trophy in their cabinet. Lyon sacked Pierre Sage earlier this week but made it into the last 16 of the Europa League after a 1-1 home draw with Ludogorets in its final group-stage match on Thursday. Olympique Lyonnais have appointed former AC Milan manager Paulo Fonseca as its new head coach on a two-and-a-half-year contract, the Ligue 1 club announced on Friday.

Lyon sacked Pierre Sage earlier this week but made it into the last 16 of the Europa League after a 1-1 home draw with Ludogorets in its final group-stage match on Thursday. I believe that the owners of PSG are disappointed because since they bought PSG they have spent more than 1 billion euros according to this article:

and the team has not won anything outside of France. It makes sense that the owners now don't want to spend a lot of money on big signings. But the current PSG coach will need to go far in the European Champions League to show the board that with more budget they could win the European Champions League.

I feel to an extent it does diminish them in the ranks of the European league like the UCL, they are yet to be classified as elite club when the archives UCL winners are opened and names like Northampton Forest are mentioned and PSG is no where to be found in the list except that they are constant qualifiers to the league's competition.

I feel this is part of many reasons the Qatari owners are dragging foot on dumping more money into the club after billions spent and not a single UCL to show for meanwhile their Qatar club counterpart Manchester city has been able to do justice to their UCL trophy drought recently. In the end, PSG managed to reach the Champions League Play Off zone, Enrique squad managed to win convincingly over Stuttgart with a score of 4-1. Does gambling only determine the trophy-winning team? Because the reality is that there are still competitions that occur until the end of the season, and competition in football is not only for the team that wins the trophy, because other positions remain an interesting competition, to be an option when betting. So, even though PSG will still win the Ligue 1 trophy, there is certainly still something else that can be done, because other teams will also still try to finish in a better position and they will still give their best effort too.

France League was not that popular league but due to some contracts of PSG fans are forced to watch their games. For example, Neymar has a lot of fans all over the world and when Neymar left Barcelona for PSG, all Neymar fans started watching France League. Similarly, when Messi came to PSG, a huge fanbase of Messi followed the French league only because of Messi, but now there is no one. Earlier Mbappe Neymar or Messi people followed the France League because of them, but now since none of these players are in the France League, very few people follow the games of this league. 
In my own words, I used to watch every game of PSG but now I only watch the result after the match. You can say that PSG will spend money again and buy quality players again but I don't see any talented players coming to PSG.

I think it's a good thing for a club to have the sense to sack an underperforming manager before its too late. Pierre Sage's tenure at Olympique Lyon has been inconsistent with mixed performances throughout his time as manager. His replacement, Paulo Fonseca is known for his attacking philosophy and tactical acumen will now be saddled with the responsibility of turning things around at Lyon. It remains to be seen whether he can be able to lead the club to success both domestically and in Europe.

That means they still need a good process and progress, as well as good consistency to do all that, whether they can or not, it will depend on their efforts and consistency.

Even though you say PSG doesn't have anything too special, yes, that's how PSG is. But in French Ligue 1, like it or not, so far, PSG is still the top standing and still no club that can replace this club immediately this time.
