It is difficult to accept such a result. PSG had 69 % ball possession. They also attacked more. But even then they could not score more than one goal. The poor performance of PSG's defenders is one of the reasons for their defeat. If lens can win the away match against Paris today, they will be able to occupy the top spot of  the table. But if the match is drawn, psg  will be at the top of the table.

Lens did it yesterday, proving to us to be capable. The margin was much, imagine 5-0. I never expect such a huge win from Lens. Now they are sitting on the top. This makes me think and further proves that Lens current performance is no fluke. They have truly experienced significant improvement this season. In fact, they have maintained their consistency which has kept them in first place in the standings. Although Lens isn't as financially wealthy as PSG, they have a strong fighting spirit. PSG defeat to Rennes further proves that they underestimated Rennes. We can see that PSG players were too individualistic, not passing the ball and preferring to shoot without considering accuracy. You are right, Lens took advantage of the same opportunity as PSG, which resulted in them once again overtaking PSG and regaining the top spot in the table. However, yesterday Lens achieved the feat of going top by incredibly beating Paris FC 5-0 and we noticed that they were a much more dominant team in that game, and there was a hunger for victory within this Lens team. From what I saw, the visiting Lens team started to show an offensive tendency from the 24th minute of the match, and they took complete control of the match against Paris FC and earned three points. It is also true that at this moment it's very possible that PSG will face more defeats as the season becomes more intense with the UCL match but we don't think Paris Saint-Germain will give Monaco a chance to win the first leg of the upcoming UCL play-offs  game.

I get that there is some chaos at PSG because of how things are going these days, and players/enrique are all at throats of each other, which may cause some people leaving at the end of the season. However, even with that in mind you do not expect them to lose to a team like Rennes at all, this was terrible outing for them. Le Havre managed to win against Toulouse last night even though they were playing with just ten men since from the 2nd minute of the game…

Toulouse dominated the game but they weren’t able to get any goal in the second half  while Le Havre scored their second goal in the 53th minute to lead the game two goals to one.

Le Havrr played an incredible game last night especially their defense line, and they’ve got the three points at last.

As I said, I have watched the longer 10 minute highlight two days later
Wasn't that impressive when you look at it, they scored from almost all the chances they had, PSG dominated thegame but their midfield was broken, they weren't able to do anythign from there to attack, and they executed even the few that got through dangerously very poorly..
Reminded a bit of the Marseille win last year, and probably the best tactic to date to overwhelm PSG is being aggressive in the midfield.

Since I don't have the ability to see the future to know if PSG will catch up with Lens this season, but I will tell you for free that this season is a different season from the ones PSG usually wins the Ligue 1 title even when they aren't performing well. For Lens to keep winning their matches and have the opportunity to top the Ligue 1 table again this season, it shows that Lens is fully prepared to change the narrative of Ligue 1 title this season, and PSG have to improve their performance if they want to catch up with Lens.

I wouldn't say it's a bad year for them, they're still in the running for everything, and i don't think it's very strange, given that they're playing for so many competitions it's very difficult to carry on, but i think it's not worse in the end and that this could be the beginning of a slow decline.

I agree, ball possession ultimately means little or nothing, we are able to decide the matches and decide who will win despite these statistics which are useless, in the end the teams with the least ball possession win, i don't know if there is the possibility of doing much in this case, but i don't think there is anything else to do for them
