For Lens to overtake PSG again, it's a strong signal that Lens might end up winning the title. However, we shall see what will be the outcome of Lens clashing with PSG on that match day. If Lens can hold on to their ground and draw or win the game. They will have the highest chance of winning the title than PSG.

Lens may not win PSG but at the same time, they also may not loose the trophy because they did not win PSG if they win all of their other games which is see as the most Important aspect of the championship.  Lens has all the opportunities now and if they stay consistent enough, a single game cannot be all of the barriers that they would struggle with within the season.

If Lens fails to win PSG and PSG wins the rest of their matches, PSG will be the title winner. This is why every match is very crucial for Lens to win if they want to stop PSG dominance this season. Winning the trophy needs maximum consistency and focus, every match should be seen as an obstacle to prevent them from winning the title. Don't underestimate PSG.

It seems unlikely that Lens could take the title from PSG (at least the bookmakers think it's unlikely), but if you look at the facts, you'll see: 22 games have passed and Lens is leading. There are only 12 games left, and PSG will be spending their energy in the Champions League, while Lens can focus on Ligue 1 (ignoring the French Cup). At the moment, I would rate Lens's chances of winning the title at 20%, bookmakers estimate its chances at half that.

Since I don't have the ability to see the future to know if PSG will catch up with Lens this season, but I will tell you for free that this season is a different season from the ones PSG usually wins the Ligue 1 title even when they aren't performing well. The team is in incredible form. And secondly , what is the guarantee that PSG will win all the upcoming matches ? They will play in the champions league in the future. It is very difficult to consistently perform well on two platforms. They  did not have a busy schedule before the match against Rennes. Still , they lost the match. In future they will give full effort in champions league matches. Naturally, it will be a bit difficult for them to continue their winning streak in ligue 1. I doubt enough that psg can win the championship now.

Wow, PSG lost at Rennes!
And here I am waking up to these two days old news..I need to check the match replay I am crossing my fingers to see that Rennes actually won it fair and sqare as that 1/3 possession in that stats is telling me something else!

But yeah, figures, PSG beat Marseille, Rennes lost to Lens, hard to see why not giving those odds.

I must say that i had some certainties in the French championship, these certainties have been definitively swept away by these last few matches.
We practically don't understand anything, there is a real revolution underway and many changes in the French championship.

Just as it is difficult for Lens to maintain consistency in 12 matches, it is also difficult for PSG to maintain that consistency. We have long realized that PSG is not dominant this season since Lens is competing hard with them. Although PSG is strong in terms of depth, they may have to give up against Lens' consistency. Because performance is more important than squad depth to win the title. It may not be unfair to see both teams equally in terms of performance.

Even so, due to the busy Champions League schedule, PSG will have to expend more energy, which may not be enough to win Ligue 1. Now Luis Enrique will have to choose one league and move towards that goal. It is not possible to win both leagues with the current team.

Your points are very true, in as much as both PSG and lens has got a chance at winning the French championship, there are also these flaws that lays around them both. That not withstanding, both have peculiar situations and how best they navigate it to tjeri advantage gives the other the edge over the other, PSG will see how they can manage through with the champions league and the French championship meanwhile Lens seem to have a lesser struggle, let us see who gets it at the end of the season.
