Lille really finished Lens off so easily. I would like to say that it was a disappointment. But I'm not saying that.

Because Lens have already done a quite extra work in the league so far. They aren't even of the most valued teams in the league above all...

But they are once again on the road to finishing this league in 2nd place. Only 3 seasons after the last time they did it. 

After their incredible struggles from the start of the season, Lens has finally slowly pulled away from PSG in the title race, admittedly, it's not easy to consistently perform in every match, especially when facing tough opponents. Frankly, I'm a bit disappointed because the Ligue 1 competition is only a short time away, and I hope Lens can survive, but it seems difficult, despite their defeat today, they still deserve praise, and now their goal is to maintain their top-two position.

I know very well Liverpool's performance isn't commendable, especially in the Premier League but even as Liverpool's performance isn't impressive in the Premier League they have managed to maintain good performance in the Champions League and even finished above a lot of teams in the Champions League table that had wonderful performances in their domestic leagues. So for Liverpool to achieve this why struggling in the Premier League, I think they shouldn't be write off against PSG.

The sports indeed unpredictable,  who would have thought these clubs to come with such outcomes. Marseille are not improving, after the sack of De Zebri, one would have thought the new manager will restore balance and bring them back up to occupy the second place position but they couldn’t. And about today's game, they were both direct attacking themselves bit these goals scoredset Monaco apart to be the winners. That last goal has to be puskas award worthy, what in God's name is that epic chip over the goalkeeper. Beautiful is is not!

They tried hard and played hard and made a good plan to stop PSG in this but we know that they won last year and they will be strong by dominating but this time other teams have also competed with them and that is why PSG is playing close today. Marseille should have played well in some matches in which they could have easily got points but Marseille wasted it and today they are playing with 49 points. Marseille will be able to get few points in their next matches which is only to stay in top 4. If Marseille had tried then they could have won this time because it is only 14 points away and if they also worked hard with Lens then PSG would have had more pressure and this title could have gone to someone else. If they had fought like this they would have gone towards the title but at this time they have to keep themselves strong in their own position which is important for them.

Angers managed to earn a point by drawing against Lyon. Lyon suffered a significant loss of points. Had they won this match, they would have reached 50 points and had the potential to move into third place, but they simply couldn’t find the winning goal in their away match against Angers. It must be said that they did assert their dominance in the match.
Neither team emerged victorious in the match between two struggling sides whose relegation is all but certain. Metz played to a scoreless draw at home against Nantes. Nantes continued the match with 10 men starting from the 39th minute. Although Metz dominated play, they were unable to find the winning goal after that point.

What this Ligue 1 team is going through already feels like a recurring pattern, starting the season strong, then gradually declining after the halfway point, and that includes Marseille as well.

At the beginning of the season, I actually thought Marseille might be the team to break dominance. But then again, I reminded myself that Ligue 1 has basically turned into a farmers league over the past few seasons, and that makes it hard to believe Marseille can maintain their early season form all the way through.

By the way, Lyon have just dropped down so sharply after a point... They haven't literally been able to win for 6 games in the Ligue 1. I mean of course I know they barely saved themselves from relegation previously.

I should say PSG helped them actually. After that they made an amazing start to the season and kept it up for a really long time! But now they are just risking their chance of even qualifying for the Conference League.

Lyon's situation is not good. In their last 5 games, they haven't managed a single win, and Lyon has had major problems in attack, managing at most 1 goal, rarely 2 or more. They were doing well when Endrick arrived, and it seemed they could finally finish in a good position this season.

But strangely, their performance has declined significantly, they've lost many points, and now they're on a 5-game winless streak. It seems like the players are sabotaging the club, because I can't find any other explanation for their disastrous performance over the last 2 months. If they had managed to win at least 2 of their last 5 games, they would be at least in 3rd place in the table and well-positioned in the fight for a Champions League spot.

I think the one to watch in this league after PSG is Lens because they are making the competition in league 1 interesting this season, Marseile is the third choice, and you are right that Marseille is now concerned about getting two defeats in a row and losing its third position, now Lille is in a fairly safe position with a difference of 3 points.
Today was so tough because only Monaco managed to win the match, with a score that was quite fierce too because it could almost keep up but finally Monaco could add a goal that made the score 2-1.

Lyon has been unable to recover. After Lyon only managed a draw against Angers this has extended their poor run of results. In fact, across all competitions, Lyon has gone nine matches without a win. This result certainly makes it even harder for Lyon to recover from their slump and will also make it even harder for them to return to a positive trend.

This result also keeps Lyon in sixth place in the Ligue 1 standings with 48 points, just one point behind fourth placed Masselette. Had Lyon won against Angers they would have had the opportunity to climb to third place but unfortunately Lyon failed to win against Angers. Lyon must improve immediately if they want to finish in the top four. Their next match against Lorient at home, is the perfect opportunity to bounce back.

Monaco was lucky to win against Marseille, I think Marseille should have won considering how the match went. There is only 1 place left for the Champions League, that 1 place is currently being fought over by Lille, Marseille, Monaco & Lyon. I didn't include Lens in this because I think they are safe with their points until the end of Ligue 1.

Due to poor results from Marseille and Lyon, now five teams are having a challenging situation to stay in the hunt for two Champions League spots for next season Lille 50, Marseille and Monaco 49 each, Lyon 48, and Rennes 47.

These teams have six matches each to play. Due to poor performance, it looks like Lyon could be gone because in the last few games they are not playing well, while Monaco is doing an impressive job with Lille. Even if it's not easy to talk about anything but Marseille having the next game against Metz, this could be a boost for them. Lens's loss against Lille is a big blow for them, as now their chances are almost ended to end their season as champions of this season.

Lens alongside PSG wants to take off that name of been a farmers league from the Ligue 1 through their increased competitive performances in the Ligue 1 this season. Marseille was one team that also tried and almost wanted to compete with PSG at a time but they could not and started performing poorly, else it would have been three teams creating this competition in the Ligue 1 and making the league more interesting.

Teams usually have bad games and that is currently what is wrong with Lyon, but having bad games for up to straight five matches in one particular league is actually were the big deal lies, they lose so much points and are still 6th position, if only they had taken those games seriously and got something meaningful, they would have been among the leading teams, at worse third position, currently where LOSC are because the points separating them are not much.
