Cryptocurrency has gained much more popularity in a very short period of time. But I think there is still a long way to go to be more valuable than gold. Because the value of cryptocurrency is more volatile than gold. Bitcoin of $19000 in 2017, $3000 in 2018-19 and $44000 in 2021. Bitcoin is still banned in many countries of the world. But I hope one day crypto will be more valuable than gold.

Agree that crypto is more valuable than gold but we need to define exactly that the value of crypto is always temporary, short-term value is the essence of crypto, there are no exceptions in this market. Imagine if crypto will become globally well-known. In Asia around only 25% of the people know the basic concept of crypto, just the basic. 10% of that 25% are the real crypto literate. The rest 70% to 75% of the population don't have any idea or even didn't the existence of crypto. So if all the people will become educated about crypto, imagine the financial capabilities of it. Maybe all type of business in business industry will be dominated by crypto.
