Honestly I really don't know the answer to that. We can give ourselves like 20 more years and we might be able to get a different answer from that time. Gold is physical while Cryptocurrencies are digital in nature. People might still clamor for the physical, tangible object such as gold and that might answer our question to a resounding "No" for the time being. We have to wait until more and more people will be investing in Cryptos than gold for crypto to be more valuable.

Both are totally different, crypto is a digital asset and Gold is a physical asset. Crypto is developing rapidly than gold. But most people still believe in investing in Gold.
If you compare it with profit then I think Crypto is more valuable because it gives good benefits than Gold.

If we look at the price, of course crypto is much more valuable than gold "for now" and by investing in crypto we can store it safely because all our wallet access holds it.
But for the future I really prefer to hold on to gold because digital at any time can disappear from this earth and for gold because there are physical goods and great strength it will certainly be safer in the future when the world no longer has technology.

Bitcoin is already more valuable than gold. Bitcoin price is over $45k now. And in terms of the price, I think that Bitcoin will continue to be much more valuable unless there is a really huge dump and we see very low levels. This is getting real through the adoption of bitcoin by large scale firms that are already in a well established status on the global market. This adds more value to bitcoin adoption. I do agree that in time, btc market cap may exceed the market cap of gold. But the tangible use cases of gold in electronics, jewelry or other important industries can't be address by bitcoin. Just think that most mining equipment have gold parts. So how can miners mine btc if they don't have mining equipment? This is why, gold will remain to be valuable in the market because it serves a lot of vital usage in many industries. We should not ignore this fact.

The market cap of the entire crypto market is 1.8 trillion. I think it will not be anytime soon, and not really something like a near future where Crypto will be able to overcome gold. As stated by many, gold as a metal has many uses, hence it is valuable not only as an asset but as a metal used in electronics. That kind of value crypto doesn't have. You firmly believe that it will be near to now that Gold will be overtaken. My opinion is different, it will take a long time for crypto to overtake gold. Maybe past our lifetimes.

Crypto can easily become more valuable than gold, bitcoin especially. It's limited and more convenient. But on the other hand gold is physical and beautiful - that features make it more interesting for the people.

People with a good understanding of technology view gold as an old and impractical asset. This all depends on the character of each individual, where there are some people have the view that Bitcoin is better than gold, and there are those who have the opposite view. Bitcoin is currently the favorite of people who understand internet technology, while gold is more likely to be in demand by older people who still adhere to traditional investing styles.

actually technology has mastered this world and defeated all physical aspects including gold investment which used to be a very trend and now investment has shifted to the crypto world. believe it or not I have read an article in 2016, in an article it is clear that the next year (after 2016 means) the world of databases will come or now called the digital era. so all work, transactions and financial activities are carried out through the digital world. it turns out that now I just realized that now we have entered the digital era and the era of all-technology.

As the era of civilization is growing, humans must be able to follow it in order to survive. especially if we can analyze as in 2016, and have invested in bitcoin as much as possible, maybe now we are rich. because the development has already outpaced gold, and I think this trend will continue

I think it more of adoption. If people turn to understand and use crypto in their daily lives, crypto will become more valuable. What we are lacking now is merchants accepting crypto. We have a few buts we need the majority. I believe things will be better with payment platforms like NOWPayments working hard to help merchants in processing crypto payments.
