Can Crypto be more valuable than gold?

In the near future i think crypto will be more valuable than gold, this is just a start and we gonna see more and more  exciting news about crypto.

The price of gold is keep decreasing, i think it because most of them sell it and turn it into buy crypto.

2021 is a good and fresh start to invest in crypto, I think a lot of people has considered that crypto is a good investment for short and long term. Also, nowadays crypto has a good liquidity so I think slowly but sure crypto will be side to side or more valuable than gold.

Now, crypto is side by side with gold, the only problem is that gold is already more valuable than crypto so that its resilience is more visible in terms of comparisons between the two, and I admit that in 2021 there are already so many people who join crypto because they are tempted by the benefits they can get, though not in the easy way.

When i was entre on market bitcoin was 4000+$ and gold was a stable price now bitcoin is 60000+$ price but gold is not increases price compare with bitcoin or other coin so i think bitcoin or top 10 coin can more valuable from gold i agree this topic.

I actually also agree with this topic. but if bitcoin can rise that high and gold can't. but there is value in gold. because gold will not fall free. they are going down gradually and bitcoins could fall very fast. we've all seen it.
all of them have their own advantages and disadvantages. comparing two assets that don't have the same market I don't think would be good.

The increase in Gold occurs gradually and often also stays at the same price for a long time, so that some people think that Gold does not have price movements, even though there are clear price movements, but only in a very small size, in contrast to cryptocurrencies that are price movements tend to be sharp and can even be 100X in one year.

Yes. It has surpassed the value of Gold ever since Bitcoin marked its first-time USD60k price. But due to volatility, Bitcoin price is not yet stable as compared to Gold. Crypto is a good investment though but with a very high risk as prices tend to increase and decrease. The good thing about crypto is you can earn more as prices are extremely high during bull market unlike Gold, Gold doesn’t increase the price too much over time.

Gold currently has more utilities than crypto ( tech, drugs, accessories...), and the limited quantity of availability makes the gold is more valuable for the moment but it started to change, with DeFi cryptocurrencies are starting to have more utilitiees and will certainly soon dethrone gold.

Both are different but the same, different from Value and form, crypto is very volatile whereas gold is not, crypto is digital gold, gold is gold in the real world, has a physical form. But they are the same, both can store currency values.
Accepted or not in many countries, crypto still exists today, even the price has increased very high, and is starting to be recognized as an alternative to payment other than fiat.

But the number of actual holders are small compare to short-term trader, hypers and fomo investors. However, They are the ones who run the market most crucial. The limited supplies also make cryptocurrencies more valuable compare with other form of currency.

i think the answer to this depends on your definition of value.
Gold has always been a way to store value and just like real estate gold is capable of surviving even the most trying economic periods in the history of man.
cryptocurrencies however, can be seen as digital gold. 1 Bitcoin for example is currently prices more expensive than a standard bar of gold. i believe BTC to be more valuable and since the world is technically a digital world and cryptocurrencies still in their early phase, there is the possibility of cryptocurrencies making even bigger strides in the future.
So yes, i believe cryptocurrencies is more valuable than physical Gold.

What I could think of is that right now, Bitcoin is competing with the precious metals like Gold and Silver for dominance in the market. Of course it is just a matter of time when Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum will be dominating the market and will overtake the precious metals. But right now both coins are now being considered assets, digital assets that can be bought and hold for a profit. All we need to do is wait for a few more years for it to happen.
