I think part of Man City problem this season is partly due to bad transfer policy and poor new signings, they let off some of their key players like Mahrez, Gundogan, Laporte, even palmer while Kevin DeBruyne injury also affected the team while their new signings hasn't live up to expectations the likes of Josko Gvardiol, Mateo Kovacic, Matheus Nunes are just average players except Doku who had so far been impressive, I doubt if they would be able to retain the three trophies they won last season with this average performance, so far they had lost 3 EPL matches this season and drew as some of the matches thus allowing Liverpool and Arsenal to extend their points above them.on the table.

This is a development for Nottingham Forest. Am really happy about this appointment of Nuno Espirito as their head coach. The man has good knowledge about the Premier league and he knows how competitive the league is. He has good players at his disposal that can really turn things around for the club.

It's still not easy to predict matches in tournaments like this because after all, for matches in this EFL CUP sometimes teams also not play the same as in the Premier League game play. You are correct about Manchester City; prior to DE Druyne's absence, we stated that his absence was making the team's performance seem a little off. Now that Haaland is the second player, we can be confident that every player on the pitch has an advantage of their own, especially the midfield player and the striker position. Without the midfield player, the striker will not enjoy his position, and without the stricker, the front position will not be good, making it harder to score goals. De Bruyne's position has been filled by Alvarez who performed quite nicely, he has done his midfield duties but when Haaland was injured he was positioned as a striker but after Haaland returned he would return to the midfield position.

Losing a lot of energy this season is not an obstacle for them to continue playing consistently. I meant having osimhen or roney will NOT solve the problem owned by chelsea. We do know so well if the main problem was on how difficult the club to scoring. Chelsea has some strikers but these strikers lack of experience. They don't even know how to get a good positioning during the game.
They are being so wasteful with any chances. I have seen it many times if there was no striker once its winger was sending the ball. I think that chelsea shall stop to waste more money. The club needs to make sure they can fix the main problem.

The blues got a very good achievement after it was beating newcastle through penalty. Newcastle has officially out from carabao cup after it was also out of UCL as well. This is not a good season for newcastle.
The blues need to hear some suggestions before trying to get a new striker. The current striker was so garbage and we can't deny that. Jackson and broja have very poor performance.

Chelsea needs to fix the main problem, and that is on the chemistry between the players. The blues needs to find the problem first.

So Chelsea have successfully manage to squeeze out a win from their cup tie against Newcastle. It was quite a game though but at first didn't expect Chelsea to actually qualify at the hands of Newcastle united but it seems Newcastle united are still struggling although they they had a comfortable win against Fulham during their weekend clash but this night was not good for them as Chelsea manage to equalized their first half lead and win the game on penalties.

Sometimes Newcastle can disappoint, they play the entire game winning, but they are unable to defend their home field in the 90+ minutes of play when Newcastle scores. I thought Chelsea the match was over for Chelsea, but that is not how the match will end, in a game where you don't expect Newcastle to score many goals, they will score two or three goals. They should have taken advantage of their opportunities to score more goals. After Newcastle defeated Fulham in the weekend game, I didn't think Chelsea would be difficult to Newcastle in the EFL Cup, so can we say that Chelsea is back to their high level of play now that they defeated Newcastle and qualify to the next round.
