Oh yes, I just realized this and indeed after seeing the schedule this week Aston Villa has the opportunity to feel the top of the standings with Liverpool and Arsenal having to draw, and they must win the match this week.
I think it will be an easy match for Aston Villa when hosting Sheffield United. Their difference is very significant and if Aston Villa do not win this match then it will be very disappointing. They can't afford to miss this good opportunity, because they are ahead in every way and their advantage is that they will also be the hosts.
Aston Villa are in a very good state right now, whereas the opponent they will face is not a reliable club.

Considering the performance of the top three teams in the English Premier League table, I think the match week 18 favours Aston Villa to go top of the league standings. Liverpool and Arsenal has been the most consistent team in the league since the start of the season and will both meet each other this weekend at Anfield. Bookies are backing the home team to win that particular encounter but judging by the impressive performance of the away team, it'll be very difficult to for Liverpool to beat Mikel Arteta's Arsenal. So if they end up playing out a draw, a home win for Aston Villa against Sheffield United at the Villa Park tomorrow will be enough to see the Villans climb to the submit of the league standings.

During this week, Bournemouth had a game with Luton Town in which their captain had some players and Tom Lockyer the captain of Luton had a heart attack. 60 minutes after the start of the match, Tom Lockyer the Welsh player of Luton couldn't continue the match and they had to get him to the hospital.
The players of both teams were shocked and that's why it seems we are going to see a rematch between these teams.

It is indeed unfortunate for Tom Lockyer who is still allowed to continue playing when in fact, Tom Lockyer has also previously had heart surgery because previously, Tom Lockyer has also had a heart attack like this too . But I think, the Premier League's decision to continue to give permission to play for players like Tom Lockyer, seems like a mistake.

But I think this current Emery's Aston Villa will not want to miss being on the top of the league table. They have a 100% home record in the EPL this season and If they can beat both league champions and Arsenal I don’t think Sheffield United will slip away easily. They’ll play Manchester United in their next fixture at Old trafford and it’s going to be a tough game for them.

Aston Villa will get maximum points from this home game and hope to get a point or more in their visit to old trafford.

Am getting goosebumps already watching the both-team performance this night. Aston Villa is pressing so hard. There is this symbiosis that Title charges and winning runs give to a team. Sheffield have just 8 points from 18 games and if this games end like this in a draw, they'd have 9 but that will not be enough for them as they need a win to free then from the relegation zone. Presently, they struggle alongside Luton and Burnley and I feel they'd need to put in more effort if they want to remain in the Premier League since this their performance is glaringly clear that for you to be in the top tier, you have to work extra hard to earn that spot.

Am getting goosebumps already watching the both-team performance this night. Aston Villa is pressing so hard. There is this symbiosis that Title charges and winning runs give to a team. Who would believe Aston Villa would be this great this season? Suddenly they start dishing out stellar performances as a team. I wish they could continue with this zeal. They have to be careful because in the EPL, anything beyond your control might come in and mess the whole thing up. It happened last year with Arsenal.

Despite their successes I'm leaning towards them not being able to win the EPL this season anyway. The fact that they are winning and going really well at the moment is great, but they are unlikely to go all the way in this form. It's very rare for a club to suddenly fire and be top of the table in the same season.
