When I see on beginning, before minutes 30', he very bit touch the ball, which was a mistaken by strategy. After getting a goal from reborn, then MU players starting to see faith in Ronaldo, in the second half Shaw has seen him free on the left, that was a pretty goal as the real Ronaldo. I think Pogba has to step forward a bit, to mess with the Newcastle defense.

As a team, Manchester United is very strong and stable. They have talented players like Bruno, Pogba, Sancho, and Van de Beek in their midfield. If the Manchester United strikers fail to perform well, then the midfield players will perform well and fills their gaps. If Ronaldo can establish a good relationship with the players in midfield, he will go on to score a lot of goals this season.

@Maficalking the game of Manchester United was very boring despite having so many attacking player’s they barely played well, and don’t let the scoreline fool you against a tough team they’ll be beaten badly if they perform like this.

Lastly Ronaldo was brought in for such goals and he’s delivered on his promise to score the goals, but they’ll have to manage him well as he can’t play all the fixtures at his age.

This was not a good team performance by Manchester United, the goals from the returning star masking a less than fluid effort.

Ronaldo has proven that he still deserves to play in a very tough Premier League competition with Man United. From his performance against Newcastle, he looks like a player who is still in his 30s. Even though he played the full 90 minutes but Ronaldo doesn't look exhausted and he was able to complete his task by scoring 2 goals.

The current Ronaldo is someone who is filled with experience so he already knows how he should set the rhythm (to play for 90 minutes) and he had the intuition to be in a great position to score.

Ronaldo is not a football player who will have a problem with his age. He works best with the best trainers in the world. He is in better condition than many 20-year-old football players, I don't think he will get tired or injured.
He's quite athletic and I'm sure he'll be able to sustain that performance for a few more years

Head to head, Manchester United should have won. They have better players. A good debut for Ronaldo, it seems he has immediately adapted to the Red Devils' game. Strong evidence may occur when Manchester United against strong teams like Chelsea, City, Liverpool. Looks like it will be in October, they will have a match with Liverpol

This lineup with Sancho on the left really did look good yesterday. However, they did play against a weak team and there is no way that a Pogba - Matić (or whoever will play alongside him) combination will be enough against teams that will press hard and know how to keep possession.

I still want to see them in tougher games before concluding that they look like challengers, on paper their offensive line really looks strong though.

Pep Guardiola style always win with ball possession and less to score goal, but I think last night with Leicester City is bigger club and win only with one goal is enough for Manchester City keep first place position so far. Almost big four team success got three points, from Chelsea defeat Aston Villa, Manchester United win from Newcastle United and last Arsenal success get first winning this season after defeating Norwich City, left Liverpool will easy to win from Leeds United and we know many club last season give surprise from Leeds united. Can Jurgen Klopp giving good track record for Liverpool?

There was a quite nice match between Leicester and Manchester City yesterday. But actually, Manchester City were the only team that were performing great. Leicester struggled against them so much that they were able to find the target only once in the whole game. It was a 1-0 win but Manchester City literally owned the match.

Knowing Manchester City  these guys don't just score one goal they score on average 3 goals per game and being contained to only one goal should tell you how difficult this match was...better luck next time to the foxes was really rooting for these guys to win City and ease the pressure of United.

I agree with you, his store of experience will scale him through. He is still energetic ofcourse. One other advantage Manchester United will have is his overall influence on Martial, Sauchie, Rashford, Lingard etc. These guys will all be on fire.

His influence is already rubbing off other players, Ronaldo just has one completion in the league this season for Golden boot and that is Lukaku. They completed against themselves in Italy last season and will be doing that again in England, it will be very interesting to watch.

Such a very nice competition to watch between Ronaldo and Lukaku. Lukaku had limitations of positioning when he was in England. Surprisingly he solved his problem at Italy. I will not fail to mention that Ronaldo and Lukaku are two good options for player to score. I cash out with Ronaldo to score. And it will work for the main time.

Although playing away Man City did dominate the match, Man City created lots of chances but only managed to score one goal. I was quite entertained
by the Leicester and Man City games, even though there was only one goal in that match, but the match was not boring. But because the quality of
Man City's players is better, so they can dominate the game, and manage to win the game. Man City's defense is quite solid, no wonder in 4 matches
only conceding one goal, and Leicester in that match failed to score a goal.

Lukaku is just a great player his first goal against Aston villa was so unbelievable so has his appearances has been so remarkable. 3 goals in three appearances he must be fulfilling his dreams at standford bridge. He is just full of energy and enthusiasm.

Ronaldo's adaptation is very fast. He is like a player who has been with Manchester United for a long time. If he keeps playing like this maybe he will be on the top scorers list. Bruno will be Manchester United's main player he was irreplaceable, last season. His combination with Pogba allows Manchester United's midfield to freely control the ball and build attacks effectively.

Pogba is very careless and a midfielder in the central who plays together with Pogba have to work hard. Matic is a good defensive defender but he is old and can not play well in all matches. Mc Tomminay looks good but he is unstable. Perhaps because he is young and need more experience to improve himself.

Ronaldo scored 2 goals and he rejected the substitution request from the coach because he wanted to get a hattrick. Ronaldo is always obsessed with goals.

The coach will have to do the same as what Zidane did in Real Madrid, gives Ronaldo rest in unimportant matches or when in matches when the club already 100% win. How to do this and don't make Ronaldo unhappy is the art. Will the coach be able to do this?

I think City fans are quite worried about ManU and Chelsea winning big while City scoring just 1 goal. Until now City managed well its games, scored 11 goals but 10 of it was scored vs weak Norwich and Arsenal.
Seeing how good Lukaku and CR7 are doing, City should improve further. I agree Leicester is a very good team and getting 3 points from them is something challenging. September 25 vs Chelsea and September 28 vs PSG will be the days most of us waiting for to judge how far City could go in both EPL and CL.
