What is happening to Arsenal is a shameful and unfortunate thing, the club is at rock bottom at all levels, and the differences are widening and increasing and multiplying with its competitors, which makes it far from even being among the adults.
Tough and crowded schedule, disastrous individual fouls, even late and incomplete reinforcements, but also poor choices from Arteta and Jim Blanc in most of the big games of late.
The sack of Arteta is looming on the horizon, but will it solve the problems, I do not think or expect, unfortunately.
Fans have lost their confidence in the team 30 minutes in the game  and they started to leave the stadium.

Arerta should have never got the job he has no experience and Arsenal are paying the price. How are they going to improve the team now? They have bought players for very expensive amounts which are not up to the quality of what is needed to challenge for the league. I think they might struggle to get in the top 10.

I was a defender of Arteta until today. A game like this cannot happen for a club like Arsenal ...they had 0 shots on the goal , absolute 0 ideas of how to play football and the players don't have any relationship between them when they have and when they don't have the ball. It's a shame what happen today but do we think is just Arteta ? look at the squad ...they will fight for relations spot with this squad.

FT Manchester City 5:0 Arsenal

This was a no contest game for Pep and i really feel Arsenal was lucky to have ended up, taking just 5 goals. After the events in the first half, I was hoping to see a 6 goal scoreline in this fixture and I'm sure given the time, Manchester City won't have disappointed me. Arsenal is far off from what it uses to be and Arteta is the man to blame for all this. Too bad for bettors that would have hoped and staked for a goal-goal market, loosing Xakha even before the game was properly set with a 2 goals down wasn't going to work so well. Manchester City just got the goal difference they wanted and another 3 points safely bagged.

How is Arsenal going to cope?

It's a pity this situation for Arsenal, a club I really like. I think they deserve more.

But the problem is no longer just changing coach or hiring more players, it is necessary to change the structure of the club, bringing together people with new ideas and better adapted to modern football.

I really hope they do better, for the sake of English football itself.

Played 3, lost 3, GF 0, GA 9. Isn't that an adorable statistic for a big-name team in the Premier League? I didn't see any Arsenal players on the pitch during the match vs Manchester City. Arsenal's players looked very lazy to get up and they looked resigned to today's defeat by 5 goals. Arteta's expression was very gloomy indicating that he could not do anything for his team, which was being ravaged by Manchester City. He should rest like that.

It is against Manchester City but Arteta went more defensive when he was 2-0 down. His captain Xhaka lost his temper and the players look like they could not care. I think Arsenal has more problems than just Arteta. I do expect Arteta to be fired in the morning. The fans of Arsenal will not be happy with his response. He is very arogant in the post match interviews saying he knows how to fix it.

I know that Arsenal played with ten players for around 55 minutes. But I didn't imagine this level of dominance. City players and Guardiola must be very happy about the result. This must be one of their easiest matches so far.

The worst start of the season for Arsenal quite unbelievable that such a team will concede 9 goals without scoring a single goal in 3 matches, personally my view on that woeful performances should be attributed to the manager, imagine even  playing 5 defender today couldn't salvage or prevent Man City from scoring goals despite fielding not a strong team in the first half, I believe Arteta has to go else Arsenal will struggle even other EPL teams, the team lack motivation they players are running aimlessly without any scoring attempts, the board has to take urgent decision before everything get out of hand.

I'm still wondering how a club can't struggle to at least draw one of their matches. Lossing out on three matches so far how do the expect to get enough fans it's becoming even more embarrassing for a big club like Arsenal lossing 5 goals to Manchester city although I was expecting a straight win for city but 5goals to none is really bad.

I was not expecting them to beat Manchester City but it is the attitude of the players that is concerning for Arsenal. They should have beat Brentford but they lost that 2-0. They have nearly a -10 goal difference and have not scored a goal this season. Conte is rumored to be going to Arsenal and Arteta will be fired tomorrow I think.

Three match Arsenal never got one points and always loss with more than two margin goals and I think very bad start in this season for The Gunner, what happen with Arteta keep his position safe as Arsenal coach or not. For the other games and before the end of the first half, Leicester and West Ham are leading with 1 goal both and the most important game between Chelsea and Liverpool will start in 2 hours!

But the problem is no longer just changing coach or hiring more players, it is necessary to change the structure of the club, bringing together people with new ideas and better adapted to modern football.

I do like the idea of changing the whole structure but that won't happen unless the top management changes as well or someone buys the whole club.

I really hope they do better, for the sake of English football itself.

They are no longer a top team and we're used to that. They were once a powerhouse in English football but the league will still do well even if Arsenal is relegated.

Even tho Cr7 didnt join City they are scoring like crazy and are playing amazing really. But Arteta is the worst manager in Arsenal history as far as i see he cant do anything right. They wasted lots of money on transfers and didnt get any superstar and thats why they are playing really bad

A red card at such an early stage in the game definitely decided the outcome of this mast. Staying with out one player against City is always very bad. I think soon we will see a new coach at Arsenal, as Arteta is not coping with the team.

The defeat was predictable but it was the way that they lost the game. There was no competition in any part of the pitch and Manchester City were making a mockery of the Arsenal players. Xhaka got frustrated and tackled someone dangerously with a two footed tackle because he was getting frustrated. I think he should get banned for a couple of games after that challenge Arsenal might be without their captain.

Everton just scored their second goal via a Dominic Calvert-Lewin penalty  , but what was that about fighting for who takes the penalty or not and Richarlison didn't look happy that he wasn't given this opportunity of taking it,the lad was visibly fuming. I guess these responsibilities should be clear cut to avoid such from happening. Otherwise Everton look like the will be getting a clean sheet and comfortable win this afternoon.

Wow, Man City certainly showed who was master of that match...

I hope they don't slow down along the way as they defend their title.
